Nice property right on the beach and dogs are a allowed with fee…breakfast was wonderful

Deposit was hefty…$100 a night was a lot for incidentals…if you stay a week that’s $700…I know it comes back but not for several days

When checking out , I asked if I needed to do anything else, and the clerk said, " You can just escort your mutt out." It was really disappointing and disrespectful .

Nice modern facility and very large rooms with nice full kitchen. They were also very accommodating to pets. I would say 1/3 to 1/2 of all guests staying here brought their pet.

I don't like the fact that the pool is basically underneath the building covered. Even the heated pool was cold but it would have been better if it was open to the Sun.

The staff was courteous and helpful. Facilities were clean and pleasant.

There seemed to be a few miscommunications between housekeeping and management. They were to "replenish our room every two days. After the third day we had to call the front desk for towels and kitchen replenishment. Then the next day came in to replenish the room. Two days later completely cleaned the entire room to be asked by the housekeeping supervisor if we were checking out. The last morning of our stay they asked if we needed towels, only for us to inform them we were checking out. Breakfast management needed some help. The first three days we were at breakfast it seemed they couldn't keep food like eggs, sausage and some condiments filled. It eventually improved over the next four days. Our past experience was keeping things filled was ever a problem.

room were not as clean as i wish they were, some clogs in the shower and fungus on shower walls.

The room was quite spacious and had a kitchenette. The view was great. The pool was large and clean. Steps to the beach. The staff was courteous and quick to respond. The hotel had its own garage (it was pretty snug though).

The breakfast was something that could have been improved. The food variety was not particularly great, and they tend to run out of stuff pretty quickly. One day they even ran out of juice. During busy times the elevators tend to have mind of their own not stopping at some floors even when being far from full. There was a false fire alarm a couple of times that forced people to evacuate.

I like the location… felt safe. I love that there’s a parking deck.

The parking was a little confusing at first.

The facilities and room were very clean and all the staff was exceptional. The room had a full kitchen (stove top, full size refrigerator, dishwasher and coffee pot, and was fully stocked with plates, bowls coffee cups and silverware. It also had cooking utensils (pots, pans, spatulas, etc., so if you want to cook something in your room and sit on the balcony watching the ocean, you are all set. The full ocean view rooms have a fantastic view of the ocean and beach. If I go back to Myrtle Beach, I will definitely stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott on S. Ocean Blvd.

One… that is no fault of the hotel is door dash can’t figure out how to deliver here. I was warned from hotel about how door dash can’t figure it out. Two… when we checked into room there was noticeable sand in carpet. Why there is carpet areas in a beach room idk.. either way room looked clean. The shampoo container was emptied and it took over 3 hours to actually get someone to fill it up for us. Why so many key cards?? One for towels, one for room, one for elevator… so many cards. Three… the path to beach could have been cleared of plants. Getting smacked in the face from tall plants isn’t ideal.

That I had an ocean view, for the most part the staff was very friendly and helpful. For the most part it was very clean and quiet. I absolutely loved the bathroom in our room from the mirror to the fixtures

The roach that my grandson found in our room. And the fact that the housekeeper " Amelia" will not move when she is cleaning and make the guest wait on her to finish and the one time I went to breakfast the guy at the desk by the coffee was rude. The bathroom doesn't have fan/vents
