Room and bed were comfortable, clean, and quiet.

The desk clerk put me off at checkin- he seemed to think I had a small dog or cat inside my Igloo brand food cooler. He wasn't exactly rude, but was unnecessarily assertive in wanting to know what I had inside. To his credit, he apologized when I showed him I had food inside. However, he should have handled it better from the beginning. It is a well-know brand of cooler, clearly has no breathing holes like a pet carrier would. Carrying food is pretty common now. Hotels routinely provide mini frig and microwave in rooms. I am a vegan eater and must routinely carry food when I travel. I've never had anyone question me at check in the way I was questioned here.

WE had a room right off the lobby and it was totally silent heard absolutely nothing! Very comfortable, clean and very happy. We opted out of the hotel breakfast to go to the Every Ready Diner down the street as Guy Fierro stopped in there to film his show diners drive ins and dives for his 3rd episode some 19 years ago. It's still a fabulous diner!

The hotel's location is perfect for visiting the FDR Library and Home. The front desk staff, especially the woman who checked us in, was incredibly friendly and supportive. After a long drive, we were assigned a room next to a crying baby. When we asked for a quieter option, she quickly made the change, allowing us to get the rest we needed.

Clean, well maintained, nice staff. Easy parking. The breakfast was ok. Nothing to write home about, but they had both hot and cold options. The hotel is a few minutes walk to the FDR library and museum. And a Diary Queen is just 2 buildings away if you like ice cream.

The beds were way too soft and the pillows were too small and too fluffy. But I’m being really picky here. Most hotels have beds like this. I just prefer a firmer bed.

Great price, location and cleanliness. Shower was good pressure, King bed was comfy, &heater worked great.Free Breakfast finally offered. Eggs, sausage, Belgium waffle, toast and bagels, Danish, oatmeal &cold cereal.Hot coffee &tea 24hrs. Snowed on our Saturday and while there was some dirt tracked in on the stairs & hallways, it was immediately cleaned!.

There was someone smoking either in the hallway or in the room next door. Not just cigarettes.

Nice location, very beautiful quiet area. Very nice breakfast. Will definitely return here when business takes me to the Poughkeepsie area. Much nicer than the noisy places on the very congested parts of Route 9 farther south.

Hvac was not activated, could not adjust heating or cooling. Minor issue. Facility needs general sprucing up, a bit dated.

Staff were efficient and helpful. Rooms were clean. All features worked. Location is close to Vanderbilt property, Roosevelt Museum, and culinary Institute of America. Full breakfast was good.

Very quiet- could not hear anything- we were on the 2nd floor by the stairs. Bed - very comfy Breakfast area small- tables filled up. Room- adequate size- had plugins/ fridge- a little dark

For a small hotel the atmosphere was very welcoming an smelled very clean. When we got to the room, it was fresh, and the room smelled very linen. The sheets, floor, curtains, and bathroom all were very well kept. I would definitely recommend this hotel for comfort and cleanliness.

Convenient to where we wanted to be. The young lady that checked us in was extremely accommodating and lovely. She made our check in experience very pleasant
