The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable and clean with amazing views of the surrounding mountains, the food however was excellent. While the hotel is 3* the food is 5*.

The hotel was a little too far to be able to walk into Aosta and the hotel is right on a main road which can be a little noisy as traffic is fast. This was not a problem during the night but day and evening only. I dont consider this a major issue as it was not really much of a problem but the photos on the website dont give any indication.

Very comfortable room and bed. Superb breakfast.

The on site restaurant was expensive and not good value for money. The starter [risotto with Pigeon] was delicious but the main course {beetroot and mushroom] was insubstantial and profoundly unsatisfying. Furthermore I ordered a bottle of wine costing 29 Euros and was served a bottle costing 36 euros.

For a small hotel, really good choice of tasty breakfast foods.

Everything brilliant but A WiFi was not powerful enough to work in our room B the Carotta dish that my wife chose because she is vegetarian was basically a grated carrot with a bit of lemon squirted on it and very expensive for what it was

The property was very clean and as we were travelling with a dog it was really handy to have the outdoor staircase just outside our bedroom which enabled us to go in and out without disturbing other residents.

Perfectly positioned for us, stuff were very cordial and accommodating, room spacious and clean. Excellent restaurant on site.

A small family run hotel on the edge of town, uphill and on the edge of a small, neat suburban estate - with views towards the mountains. Welcoming staff, with good clean comfortable room. Excellent dinner and a good breakfast. Recommended as a base for a night or two visiting Aosta and the nearby National Park. Easy onsite parking.

The room was clean and of a good size, and so was the bathroom. The views are beautiful. The linen was good and the mattress and pillows were very good. Breakfast was excellent. I would add that the dinner was very good. Le Charaban offer excellent value for money.

The location, near a busy roundabout, with occasional loud traffic and no pavements for a safe relaxed walk.

The convenience on our trip from Italy to France. The room was lovely, great shower, comfortable bed and great staff. Parking was convenient. The restaurant on site was excellent and the breakfast was generous and the variety was exceptional.

I have already written about this fabulous place. For me and my family it is one of the best hotels and restaurants in Europe. All is perfect, from the elegantly furnished rooms with great views, all comforts and very spacious, to the exceptional food and service in the restsurant. What can I say more? Well, perhaps I can add something about the passion that the people who work there show in everything they do. Le Charaban is a place run with passion, and that makes it even more special. Do not miss the opportunity to visit the restaurant and/or stay at this unique place!

The room was overlooking the wonderful private villa's gardens and you wake up looking the mountains. Breakfats was delicious! they provide local recipes and some incredible surprises like homemade strawberries slow cooked and super crunchy sweet brown bread croutons.

Amazing location in the mountains. Hotel is super with a balcony view of snowcapped mountains Super helpful staff particularly Nichola who could do enough for us. Great food and super clean facilities parking right outside.

No negatives at all!
