Service from the hotel staff from when we arrived to departure was outstanding. Svalka on reception was both incredibly patient and helpful being it was our first time in Lake Garda. Facilities are excellent and always staff cleaning and ever so polite, nothing was ever too much trouble.for them when asked. The room was amazing and views to die for overlooking Garda and the lake, we had upgraded to lake view rooms and they were always well cleaned every day with fresh towels if needed and complimentary robes and slippers which we loved using. Food was of a good standard, the breakfast was fresh with plenty of choice. The bar menu was nice and evening meals had plenty of choice and were well cooked. Do take the speed ferry over to Sirmione, it's a beautiful place and boat trips around the locals hotspots are offered there too. Overall, we came for a relaxing weekend to unwind, the hotel was superb, a fantastic location, good food and we got exactly that. Garda is a spot on location with bars, restaurants and nice shops to stroll around and access to other parts of the lake are easily accessible. We loved it !

The food although very nice can be expensive and over the several days did mount up. A half board option would be great and complimentary water for the room would be a nice touch. This part is not about the hotel. The taxi fares from Verona airport are expensive, around 80 euros each way to and from the hotel. To get into Garda it's 20 euros each way and local taxis as we found out are very hard to get hold of, there are limited licenses so only a handful of drivers operate Garda. It would be worthwhile to potentially hire a car whilst out here if you want a more cost effective way of getting around.

Everything was perfect! From the minute we turned up the staff couldn’t do enough for you! Everything was spotlessly clean and well looked after and the views around the hotel and from the pool are incredible. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had!

We had half board, and the food was delicious but the guests on half board are seated in a separate, somewhat sterile part of the restaurant without a view. However Donato was amazing and looked after us incredibly well!

Great hotel with good quality food and extraordinary friendly staff. Great view on lake Garda and just a few minutes drive away from it. Major towns easily reachable. Comfortable and seamless clean rooms. Highly appreciate the age 14+ policy which helped to relax in a quieter atmosphere.

Stunning Property, both inside and out. The staff were highly professional from the front desk to service in the hotel and at the poolside. Cleaning staff all extremely polite and efficient.

Rooms where fantastic views we had were unreal , the staff are fantastic and very welcoming and always wanting to do more and very helpful would recommend people should stay here at least once great place to stay.

Amazing property with peaceful & green calm surrounding, the staff is superb, very kind & helpful. We liked the restaurant & the pool, every single detail was astonishing & worth the value. Thank you guys you made our honeymoon sweeter.

Location and service

There were no irons or ironing boards available in the room, and the hotel does not provide them upon request. Instead, they offer ironing as a paid service.

It’s an absolutely beautiful spot firstly, being only 5-10 mins in car or taxi down to Garda town but it is high enough that you get a brilliant, stunning view of the lake and town. We booked one of the old style classic rooms but the hotel upgraded us for free upon arrival to a newly decorated room which was beautiful and comfortable with everything you may need - plenty of storage and space, safe, ample toiletries, fresh towels and pool towels (I think they were changed daily) and stocked mini fridge (chargeable). Room was cleaned daily and it was done really quickly. Our room had a great view and I suspect that most rooms have an unobstructed view of the lake. We even watched a thunderstorm for a few hours and absolutely loved it. Both pools are lovely and offer a great view again - staff regularly come around to ask if you’d like to order a drink and bring it to your lounger. The hotel was not overly crowded at any point of our stay so there is no issue with finding loungers and no dreaded 7am towel dash! It’s worth mentioning the hotel seemed quite full from what we saw at breakfast and dinner, however, at no point did it feel crowded. It is a lovely quiet spot and the hotel is relaxed and peaceful in general. Staff were all amazing. Really lovely and friendly people who brought their a-game every day despite some of the guests seeming moody haha… The staff are extremely helpful and will go out of their way to make it a lovely stay. From the views, our free room upgrade, to the excellent fancy restaurant-standard food (we were half-board), plus the wonderful staff and also finding out that we could charge our EV hire car for free - we absolutely loved our stay and would not hesitate in returning. There are very, very few things to fault if any.

Slight criticism but I guess no big deal in the grand scheme of things is the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room and also no iron. If this is a deal breaker for you, I suggest taking a travel kettle and you can pay for the hotels ironing service I believe but we usually bring a travel steamer so wasn’t an issue for us. This is a quiet, relaxed hotel so not really a dislike for us but for some it may be too peaceful (if that is possible haha). There are no shops nearby that we were aware of so it is worth grabbing a few basics if you require them before your arrival. However, Garda town is a really short journey of 5-10 mins at most in car/taxi and the hotel offers a free shuttle several times a day.

Breathtaking views, amazing friendly staff, lovely breakfast and fresh beautiful food. Fabulous spa and great treatments on offer and beautiful pools.

The TV was not smart to allow us to stream or cast to.
