Property is clean, and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was enjoyable with plenty of choices. Bed is comfortable. Minibar is limited but all items are complimentary

As the hotel is in the Centro Storico, and therefore within the ZTL, access if you have a car is difficult. The hotel does not have its own parking spaces but there is a parking garage right next door where they can also arrange a ZTL permit (the hotel is unable to do this for you). The rooms are on the small side - the bathroom is about the same area as the sleeping area.

Please include luggage rack in room. Would have preferred desk and chair instead of lounge chair.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Hotel Brun. Hotel was newly renovated and clean. Decent sized rooms and quite a large bathroom. It was cozy and welcoming. The staff were so kind and friendly and always assisted us with any questions we had or for booking taxis for us. The location was perfect, with the main piazza square just around the corner. Everything was in walking distance from the hotel, including so many eateries and restaurants. Highly recommend Hotel Brun in Bologna.

The breakfast could be improved as there wasn’t many options. More cold items than warm and it’s very difficult to want to eat sweets first thing in the morning, however this is just personal preference.

Great location - very central to the main piazza . Room was a good size - very modern and the USB and C ports were handy. Staff were really good about helping us with parking station to go to and dropping off our bags at hotel beforehand and suggestions as to what to do in Bologna for a day. Lovely breakfast.

A bit of street noise at night with youths gathering outside til quite late hours. It was a Saturday night though so probably unavoidable if you want to stay central.

This is a lovely, well-located hotel, with excellent service and ambience. I loved the decor, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious. I will return.

Just a bit confused by the light switches, but eventually worked them out :) Misinformation from the night staff re- transport to the airport during the marathon the next day. The day reception staff solved the problem admirably though - thank-you!

It was new and very well put together. I love the colors and decor. Location was great. Despite the small room, the bathroom was of good size. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. The complimentary mini bar was a nice touch.

The room was a bit warm. I turned on the A/C but it would not go below 22 deg. On the days I stayed, they didn’t provide the breakfast. Instead, they set up a coffee/tea station with a few pastries and fruit. A hot breakfast would have been nice. I think since the hotel has just opened, they’re still in the process of refining their offering.

Cosy boutique hotel, beautifully designed, great staff (Yuri was super helpful always), great view onto piazza Gallileo, super quiet at night yet minutes from Piazza Maggiore, and all you want to see in Bologna. Very good breakfast with such warm and kind staff.

Main corridors look a bit shabby/worn out for a hotel that is only a year old. Perhaps it's quality of fittings chosen for common areas and lifts. That said I would gladly stay here again, as the room was perfect.

Location was perfect for our first visit to Bologna, Italy. We especially loved the quiet location even though it was close to downtown Bologna. The breakfast was delicious and the wait staff was very attentive and quick to fill our every request. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Air conditioning worked great. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Brun.

Television was not very user friendly.

Staff were very welcoming. breakfast was lovely, it was very close to everything and the bed was comfy.

The shower had 2 shower heads but you could not stand underneath them and use them unless you flooded the bathroom. just something small but don't let it turn you off the hotel.

Very friendly staff. All receptionists were willing to go above and beyond, really helpful and kind. Hotel was clean and new, in very city center of Bologna

Very small bed even for one person, not the best mattress too. Breakfast is a little bit confusing. The selection on the table is small, but you can actually ask waiter and they can cook whatever you wish. If you do not ask, you will never know. I would suggest to put some flyer with this information
