We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the hotel! From the very first moment, we felt the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive to every request – always with a smile, making us feel right at home. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with great attention to detail. Cleanliness and comfort were clearly top priorities. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and varied – a perfect way to start the day, with something for everyone to enjoy. We will definitely be coming back, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality, and enjoyable hospitality experience.

Location is exceptionally great (very close to the Piazza). Room service was perfect, and the concierge was very helpful. The room was clean and spacy, with comfortable furnishings.

Room decor was unusual and not very much to our taste (the red-and-black color scheme was too aggressive, making it difficult to relax in the evening).

Central but relatively quiet location (off season) with a breakfast very worth booking and extremely helpful staff. Comfortable bed, room size is ok and good housekeeping service. The central location in the middle of Bologna is really the best of it all.

It‘s a very old house with charm but badly sound insulated old, big windows. If people talk loud on the street or laugh/scream/sing during the night, there’s a high chance you’ll wake up. If not the city cleaning service emptying recycling glass in front of the street at 2 am will surely wake you up. So if you happen to have light sleep, I recommend you asking for a room facing to the back of the house.

The breakfast was generous and excellent. Staff at hotel were consistently pleasant, welcoming and helpful. Accommodations were bright clean and spacious. The location was perfect for old town and touristy area. Some incredible restaurants within a few blocks of you door. Heat worked well. We were there in mid November. It was about a 20 minute walk from the train station or a 5-10 minute taxi ride.

The shower stall was a bit tight and it was tough to get really hot water. The actual drain in the shower probably needs to be plunged as the water fills up in the bottom so showers must be short. Possibly if the water did not accumulate in the bottom of the stall a longer shower might get hotter. This was not a deal breaker at all as it was not a cold shower merely warm and the room was nice and warm.

Excellent location in the historic part of the city meant we had no use of any other transport system than two legs each. We expected quirky decor and were not disappointed, our room being colourful and fun with graphics on all the walls. Bathroom was clean and with a bath and shower and breakfast was excellent with choices for all nationalities as far as I could see. Excellent coffee is always a barometer IMO and here it was freshly made and strong - just how I like it.

Offhand I can't think of anything I didn't like. Staff were all friendly, knowledgeable and spoke good English so no complaints there either.

We stayed in one of the apartments, which provided plenty of space - especially by European hotel standards. The location was perfect for exploring Piazza Maggiore, Quadrilatero Market and Mercato delle Erbe, along with countless restaurants.

The counter space in the bathroom is minimal, and the air conditioning unit is in the living room - so you don’t get the benefit of the air con in the bedroom while sleeping if you close the door (which you need to do if you want blackout sleeping conditions).

We arrived around 08.30 and they took our luggage into storage until the apartment was ready, then took our number to tell us when the apartment was ready so we could have an afternoon snooze. Daily cleaning was excellent and complimentary prosecco and water was a good send. Very large selection of food to choose from for breakfast, freshly baked croissants were our choice and fresh fruit with yoghurt or a cooked breakfast.

Would've liked the Aircon to be allowed on lower settings as it was very hot the week we stayed, but it was still very refreshing on entering the apartment

The location of the hotel was excellent, just a few minutes walk from the main square. We were fortunate to have booked the apartment in a separate building a short walk from the main hotel and this was quite adequate in terms of size. We could not praise the reception staff enough. They were most friendly and answered any queries that we had. My wife had the misfortune of having had her passport and credit cards stolen on our day trip to Florence and the staff were most helpful in informing us where to find the British Consulate.

My husband and two teenage children absolutely loved this hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The hotel was quirkily decorated (and in the heat of July, we appreciated the air con and the cold water machine). The breakfast was amazing, a huge range of quality food on offer, including fresh fruit, nuts and seeds and omelettes cooked to order. My daughter is coeliac and there was a dedicated basket of individually wrapped gluten free bread, cakes and biscuits for her. The location was perfect for us, minutes from Piazza Maggiore. Thank you, would definitely recommend this hotel.

Fantastic location, 5 min walk to Piazza Maggiore, yet in a very quiet street so no noise. The staff were all lovely, extra shout out to the wonderful young gentleman Juliano the maintenance person. Breakfast was great

Better AC - it was actually cold in our room, and no way of working the AC to turn to heating.
