Amendola 16 is very close to the Bologna Centrale train station. It's literally across the street. I took several day trips during my stay in Bologna, so this was a great feature. It's a longer walk to the Bologna city centre, maybe 20-25 minutes. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was cleaned daily. There was ample closet/carry on space for two people There was a Nespresso machine and packaged pastries/snacks that were replenished daily. This was enough to get started, and there's a really nice cafe next door.

It's a small space. The bed takes up most of the main room. There's a small table with two chairs, but not a lot of room to just hang out if you're taking a break from walking about the city. This was fine the night/day when I was on my own, but when I was with another person, it felt cramped. It's on a busy street. When the window is closed it blocked out the noise extremely well, but if you want the window open the street was noisy.

The location is excellent, it is a 2 minute walk from the train station so ideal for early morning trains or late night arrivals etc. Location is not a far walk from the main square. Check in was extremely simple and convenient, too. The bed was very comfortable and the snacks were a nice touch. Decently sized room too.

The bar fridge did not work, it was on but did not cool anything which was a huge issue in peak summer. The hair dryer, too, was VERY poor - it was weak and overheated quite easily. The room walls (or door) is very thin, so when people check out in the early hours, or return from wherever, the door slams and it wakes you up in a panic as it feels that your own door was slammed.

I never saw Manuela but she was very helpful and provided very good details for us to find the place and know how to enter. This helps a lot for people arriving on hours outside of the checkin schedule since you can do it by yourself with the details she provides. The place was very clean and smelled really good. They provise some toasts, coffe, tea an watter and the room was also warm considering it was cold outside. Bathroom was very clean and they probide bio products for us to use. Very well located, you just need to cross the street to be in the central stations which is good if you are traveling between cities. Also walkable to the city center!

B&B is in front of the train station, side exit. Room was exactly as it shown in the photos. Very clean and comfortable for 2 of us. Complimentary breakfast, Nespresso machine, kettle, refrigerator, Wifi and flat screen is available. Amenities include. The room was cleaned every day. Walking distance to the tourist attractions, restaurants and bars. Contact via e-mail and WhatsApp was answered quickly. We highly recommend this B&B and we will come back in the near future. I loved the size of the rooms, the size of the bathroom, it was nice to have snacks provided and the easy access to the train station.

The only thing was that our room was where the cleaning staff had their supplies and every morning the inconvenience of the noise mady by the cleaning staff was very noisy. When we arrived, our room was to be room #1 but there was no card to enter that room and we had to walk around to find the room that had two twin beds and it ended up being room # 9 which again was next to the supply closets and therefore very noisy in the early morning hours.

I needed accommodations close to the the Bologna Centrale as I was coming in from the Airport and needed to take a train out the next morning. It was not more than a few minutes walk away so perfectly met my requirements. Instruction on entering the building and entry into the common area and the specifically to my room (#1) were as clear and comprehensive as required. It was nice to have a small elevator in the building to take me up to the 2nd floor. Room is on the smallish side but it was great to have a small bistro size table for two to sit in. There was an Nespresso espresso/coffee machine and kettle and coffee pods as well as a selection of teas. Cups of different sizes were provided. Unexpectedly, there was a small thermoelectric based fridge (that didn't really cool well even though I left the cabinet door open) but there was a couple bottles of water and UHT milk for the coffee/tea. Another unexpected treat was that the owner had prepackaged toasts, a couple nutella based pastries and jam for a light breakfast. The accommodations were clean, modern and tidy. Air conditioner worked well in the summer heat and even when set at 23 degree C, I felt a bit chilled when I was in bed. I had a chance to walk around (5km) in the evening and had a couple draft beers, good salad and tasty pizza meal (food enough for two people) at Il Veliero. Also walked in the central area and caught the outdoor movie that was playing in the Piazza. The area near the Amendola16 may be a bit sketchy, but, at no time would I consider it to be an unsafe area even at night. Overall, this is a good location especially for those like me that were travelling by train and still want to have the ability to walk around the inner city.

Not as many restaurants around in the area. But, need to walk about 500 meters south and there are many places to choose.

The welcome email/WhatsApp message was fantastic!It had ALL the information provided to ensure a problem- free self check-in. The proximity to the train station is awesome. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. The room was super clean, the bed was comfortable, and the coffee machine was a life-saver in the morning.

Everything was great. One small recommendation: perhaps in the welcome message, it could be mentioned that if the elevator door is not closed while it's on a higher floor, it will not come when called... I dragged half my suitcases up to the 2nd floor when I realized that the little, old elevator was stuck on that floor, because the doors don't close automatically and therefore it will not work when needed downstairs. So I closed it and sent it down, and all was fine. 😊

Lovely clean room, welcome hamper was very nice and the bottled watered was very handy and well appreciated.. the beds were comfortable and good air conditioning. I was also able to use my Netflix so we liked that we could watch some TV in the evening. It’s convenient for the train station being right across the street.

The only downside was that our room was right next to the main entrance and so we could hear the door buzz every-time someone came or left but that only happened a few times. It’s right next to the main road so you can hear traffic early morning but for us it was fine as we are use to this and use the noise of traffic as some what of an alarm to wake up!

Very nice and clean room. Great location, everything was within walking distance.The complimentary coffee and crackers were nice to have and appreciated. The room got cleaning everyday and all the essentials and complimentary coffee and crackers were refilled. The street and traffic wasn't too loud or disturbing, despite the proximity to the train station.

The room was described as soundproof, however, we heard almost everything from the hallway, which woke us up earlier than planned on many occasions.

Great location right across from the train station. The room is great with a super comfortable bed. There is a small fridge, and a coffee machine and they provide very basic breakfast snacks which are a good start to the day! In the hallway there is access to a kettle and microwave, cutlery is also provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Amendola16 to anyone who wants to stay close to the train station!
