Staff went above and beyond to help from recommendations of what to do and where to eat, as well as booking tables at restaurants for us. Room was spacious and had everything you would need. It was always clean and tidy. It was a short walk (15 minutes or so) into the main centre of Bologna so quiet but easy to access shops and restaurants.

It was a little noisy from 7am when breakfast was being set up and then from guests getting their breakfast from other rooms. Breakfast wasn’t replenished so if you were the last room, sometimes there were more limited options. Plates were left on other tables rather than being cleared away.

I loved the location of this B & B. The self access was communicated well with a video so no drama checking in. I arrived by train and only had a 5 minute walk to reach the B & B. Room itself was spacious and comfortable. Wonderful bathroom facility - plenty of room in the shower and a towel warmer great for drying small items of clothing. Great breakfast. Friendly service from the staff. Close to the centre of Bologna with a lovely walk via the shops.

The only thing I wasn't too fussed about is that my window opened up to the courtyard which wasn't private for me and also when smokers were present, I had to close the window.

Lovely sized room and big bathroom. All really clean and had everything needed - coffee machine and kettle, mini fridge with water and safe. Although some instructions for the safe would be good as we managed to set off some safe alarm. Location is excellent, 5/10mins from train station and 10/15 mins from main bars and restaurants. Great base if attending F1 Breakfast was plentiful, fantastic big croissants, hams and cheeses

Really hard to find fault or anything didn’t like. The only small thing was we didn’t have enough cream/milk in our room to make coffee and it wasn’t topped up once we used the couple of little cartons. Very small thing in what is a great place

We stayed at galleria on our last night in the city and had a fantastic experience. Check-in was seamless—they kindly let us check in much earlier than expected since we had just disembarked from a cruise. The staff were genuinely warm, helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Since we were leaving at 4am the next morning, they thoughtfully prepared a charcuterie tray to go—completely unprompted and incredibly kind. The location is excellent. We walked from the train station with ease, and there were plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. A perfect spot for a short stay, especially if you’re catching an early train or flight.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate and staff were very kind and friendly. The location is near the central train station, but on a very quiet street. It was easy to follow the host's instructions to enter, as we arrived after 8:00 PM. Good restaurants are within an easy walk. I would stay here again, although I found the price to be a little high.

The only negative point was that quite a bit of noise from inside the building came in under and through the door to the room in the morning. Not a single sound was heard from outside, since the room faced a quiet internal courtyard, but there were loud voices easily heard from inside. Doors do not appear to be well sealed.

We liked the way that Ornella was so flexible and helpful. Communication via Whatsapp was very easy and she was happy to let us arrive an hour earlier than we had originally agreed. She also provided us with an early breakfast as we had an early flight to catch. The accommodation, Nettuno, is of a very high standard and spacious. The bathroom also is splendid. The location is an excellent compromise between being in the centre and near to the station. It was only a 10 minute walk from the centre, which for a couple in their 60s-70s and carrying backpacks, was absolutely doable.

Unfortunately we did not sleep well because we could hear the traffic in the street outside. It probably didn't help our knowing that we had an early flight to get up in time for.

We visited galliera residence in early October. Its near to the train station of bologna and also (about a 10 minute walk or less) to the city center. Our stay was fantastic! Olga and nina were the most amazing, kind and helpful hostesses we could have asked for. Our room was very clean and big enough to make a family of three feel very comfortable. Of course the room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was a little small but it had anything someone could ask and it was all delicious. Me and my family would definitely recommend galliera residence for anyone visiting Bologna. Thank you Olga and Nina for a wonderful stay!

The breakfast was very good, the room was quiet, and i liked the atmosphere of the whole building. The women in charge were friendly and always ready to help.

Breakfast was late, not before 8.30 am. The last morning I missed it (unfortunately, I am sorry for that), because I was very nervous due to the announced train stoppage (strike). Therefore I left the place very early, but I a had a safe journey going to Rome. I was not used to the pin code system. Finally I managed it, however. I personally prefer keys.

Great location near the main train station, so easily walkable (less than 10 minutes even with bags). Lovely staff with excellent English and so welcoming. Compact but clean room with excellent air conditioning, Smart TV, coffee making facilities, large floor length mirror (always underestimated by hotels), storage space. Comfortable bed. Large walk in shower and well designed bathroom. Daily service. Buffet breakfast available of a very high and varied standard. Lovely terrace area on the first floor. Excellent room security and access systems.

The breakfast was outstanding with cereal, fruit, yoghurt eggs, croissants, and pastries, juices etc. The location is close to the train station and the main shopping strip. The facilities are spacious, clean and modern, tastefully decorated with keyless pin entry. The bed is comfortable, the shower excellent. The staff were helpful and allowed us late check out. I'd recommend staying here.

We were a little concerned arriving after hours after 7pm and not knowing how to enter as there was no hotel lobby. However, the friendly staff arrived a few minutes later and helped us settle in.
