Location is the main reason for booking this hotel. The staff all around are friendly. Continental breakfast is well appointed to start your day. Good AC in the rooms. (We had two)

Lift stopped working for a little while while we were there. My parents are elderly so we waited until it worked. Could have been an issue if it hadn't been fixed. Lobby and restaurant area aren't air conditioned, can get very hot Small thing about attention to detail, but room was set up for one person (one bath towel, one hand towel) had to request a second lot.

A very nice hotel, close to everything you may need in Bologna. It's just one block away from Bologna's Central Train Station and some blocks away from the Piazza Maggiore and town center. The room was similar to the photos, shower was great and it had a nice area to work, with a frigobar under the table. The breakfast is very Italian. There are at least two 24h-open convenience stores nearby, which is a plus too. I would stay here again anytime in Bologna just by the super amazing staff at the entrance! That's how customer service should be!

The location of the hotel was good. Close to the train station, a short walk to the city center. The breakfast was adequate, no hot food. It was adequate before a day of sightseeing. The suite was spacious, quiet, and large. Comfortable, huge bed, large bathroom. There was also an elevator. It suited us perfectly.

When we checked in, we asked the receptionist to help us have at least one cappuccino when we left, because our flight left before breakfast. When we checked out at 6 am, we asked for the cappuccino, but the receptionist didn't give it to us.. This was unpleasant, because we had paid for the breakfast...

The location was perfect for exploring the Old City, and also for walking to when arriving at Bologna Centrale from the airport's Marconi Express connection. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the service throughout the stay was impeccable. Breakfast was included and was a good range of continental options: coffees were made to order and brought to the table. Michele at reception had some great recommendations about where to visit, and also where to eat. Overall, a great choice for a short stay.

Like many older hotels, the sound-proofing isn't so good but the internal noise levels dropped considerably after 11pm. Outside, you can't do much about - drunk Brits shouting in the street at 3am woke us one night, and there's always the street cleaning machines which is why Bologna, like most continental cities, is so much cleaner than anywhere in the UK. The policy of allowing pets in the rooms is probably one I wouldn't agree with as we heard a dog barking about 6.30am a couple of times. If you're a light sleeper, take some ear plugs.

The location to the train and town center was fantastic. The staff were amazing. They was very friendly, helpful and happy. We stayed here for one night as we were changing trains and wanted to see a little bit of the area. It was great for one night.

The room needed a bit of care and maintenance. The blinds in the bathroom were damaged and couldn't close properly, leaving us very visible to neighbouring buildings. The Queen bed was made up of two firm beds pushed together being very uncomfortable down the middle. With these negatives, we felt the price was budget friendly.

Great location close to Bologna Centrale train station, and an easy walk to the historical centre of the city. Room was spacious and comfortable for two people.

My main complaint is the tiny shower. But the lighting in halls is problematic. There is sensered lighting, which takes a moment to come on after you enter a space. I actually fell walking down the stairs, having not seen the bottom step. Keep to the lifts is my advice!

The great pros of this hotel is location, 5 minutes by walk from train station. The hotel is big with a lot of rooms and it feels like quite old style, I mean the room style and furniture. But it was ok for me as there was air conditioner and fridge. I've chosen not so right time to visit Bologna as weather was very hot so I spent a lot of time in hotel and waited my flight back home. Overall, it worth staying here if you plan to use train to visit other parts of this Italy region.

couldn't find check-in, check-out hours in description so I've booked. we came after night spent at airport cuz of flight cancelation with hope to get early check in to sleep a bit. but there were no rooms, only if you pay extra 30 euro room appears. sad to have this kind of approach to people in unexpected life situations. Wishing all the best for hotel they have nice accommodation but for sure we will never return there.

The location was awesome. Near the train station and being close to the main shopping and historical area. You could walk everywhere. There were supermarkets close by. When we arrived we were immediately given easy instructions about attractions, and made to feel welcome, bags stored, washroom offered etc. We left some il very important items behind accidentally and the hotel contacted us as soon as they found them and worked with us to find a solution to retrieving them.

Good location near the train station, overall adequate.

The interior of the hotel is very dated, so much so that it will soon be considered as vintage :-) (60-ties? 70-ties max) The staff is nice, but a little blasé - cannot provide an emergency toothbrush or a printed invoice that features the name of the hotel :-), badly functioning internet not really their problem....
