Awesome hotel, extraordinary staff, great food. The hotel location was perfect, close to the center as well as just across the railway stations. The hotel staff was simply outstanding, my daughter wasn't feeling good and the breakfast staff helped me with adequate food to overcome it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Firstly, you showed your empathy and humanity, and after that how amazing you are. Kudos to you!

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The location is perfect, right across the street from the train station, which made everything super convenient. The room was much bigger than expected, very clean, well-organized, and the shower was absolutely perfect. The whole place felt spacious and comfortable. What really stood out was the amazing service. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. As a pet owner, I was especially happy that they even allowed my dog to join me at breakfast. a huge bonus! My dog was very happy and comfortable throughout the stay. I totally recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, pet-friendly, and well-located place to stay. I’ll definitely come back again!

The hotel is very well positioned near the train station and 20 minutes away from the historic main square. We stayed for 1 night as we lost the flight connection on that day. From the airport to the train station you can take directly the Marconi Express train. The staff allowed us a late check-out at 1 PM instead of 12 PM. We also left the luggage at the reception while we went visiting the city landmarks. And we stayed the couple of ours until our flight at their comfortable lounge. Also the breakfast was very delicious. The hotel itself offers deluxe services.

Right across the road from the train station so accessibility was ideal for us as we travelled by train. Staff were very friendly and the room/bed was very comfortable. We had a view into the inner courtyard. As with all European cities there is a tourist tax that is not included in the initial booking cost. I would stay here again.

The breakfast was really superb - rich and fresh. Staff were very accommodating and ready to be of help. The room was cosy and had everything it needs - I slept three perfect nights there. The location very good both for walking the city and for countryside drives.

More transparency about pricing. Parking, breakfast, additional taxes, staff and services - things we take for granted in hotel accommodation (at least where I come from) - were not included in the Booking price. However, they amounted to about 60 % of the total original price. The explanation in booking was "additional taxes may apply" - which I do not thing suffices to explain the situation properly. Parking - 25 Eur / day; breakfast (even though delicious) 15 Eur/person/day; municipal taxes - not sure how much; service tax at 5 %!!! and a staff tax of 10 %!!! It could be my lack of information and experience with Italy - but a lot of that was strange to me. So, to sum up, very good quality - strange pricing for me at least.

Good evening, the location is good, just across the main railway satation, but on the main street. Approximately in a 20 minutes walking distance from the center of the city, Piazza Maggiore. The room had sufficient place for three adult people. The bed linen was pure. The bathroom was also clean. The breakfast was good, much better comprared to 4star hotels in Florence (Palazzo Galatti) and in Venice (Carlton on the great chanel) but worse then in Rome (Best Western hotel Universo). No seafood, no olives and the offer of friut and vegetables was limited and repetitive. Summary: I can recommend this hotel for normal travellers to Bologna

Great hotel. Was given an upgrade. The lobby staff was kind and gracious. Amazing breakfast.

The Fondente staff (bar/restaurant) was really unkind. After checking out from the room and even leaving a tip, we moved to the restaurant to eat something while waiting for our train and the staff there, probably not understanding we were hotel guests, told us to either eat a complete lunch (no appetisers and drinks) or we could just order drinks at the counter and bring them ourselves to the waiting room. The restaurant was empty, and the previous afternoon we had an aperitivo there with no issues (but different staff...and weren't carrying our computer backpacks that might have given the idea we were "just" tourist 🙄)
