The location is unbeatable. From BLQ, take the Marconi Express and you’ll find yourself just a block from the property. The staff was outstanding, especially Antonio at the front desk, who was incredibly kind and accommodating. The room was excellent, with beds so comfortable it felt like sleeping on a cloud (or maybe we were just very tired!). Even the shampoo and soap were surprisingly nice... I tried to figure out the brand but couldn’t. Breakfast was also excellent, offering a wide variety of items, including fresh fruit, and catering to many tastes and dietary preferences. After returning from a concert, we were worried there wouldn’t be any food options nearby, but just around the corner, we found a great spot serving hand-tossed pizza.

We wish we could stay another day!

Good breakfast every morning, with a wide variety of food available. Large room with bed and air conditioning, very clean every day. Bed was comfortable.

I was put into a room in the "dependance" (annex). I had specifically booked into the hotel because it is an old-world style, but with an elevator. Unfortunately, after going up to the second floor, I was then taken outside to a walkway (with steps) that led to the annex. A staff person had to lead me there and ensure my heavy bag made it. When I checked out, there was no assistance with the bags available. I think the room was much larger than some in the main building but I felt it was a little inappropriate for a solo woman traveler.

Alesandro was very very helpful many times I returned to the reception with various questions and he was the only one who asked us if we were 1st time and gave us a map of the city and explained what we could see. He also helped to organize a taxi for 3 families to the airport. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was Italian, good and tasty. Good location around 25min by walk to main town.

the older receptionists spoke better English than the younger ones which surprised me. it was hard to communicate with the younger ones I had the impression they didn't understand what was being said to them. I ordered 3 rooms for the same price but each had a different standard. Only one had a kettle with coffee and tea. One had a fridge and the other had nothing. I would expect the same standard for each room if they are the same price.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was especially impressed by the warm reception I received upon arrival on the night of November 21st. The staff on duty that evening truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed after a long day of travel. Although I unfortunately didn't catch their names, their kindness and professionalism left a lasting impression. The check-in process was smooth, and their attention to detail ensured I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and hospitable atmosphere. Thank you to the team for such a memorable experience!

Everything was very good.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I also found the room very cozy and neat. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the train station and the best choice for me considering I traveled with a lot of luggage and a dog. So happy it’s dog-friendly too.

Small critique: My room was quite warm and I couldn’t figure out the air-conditioning. I didn’t want to leave the window open as there was a roof outside that was at the same level as my room, so it felt like somebody could get in easily from there. I’m sure the staff could have helped but it wasn’t bad enough for me to ask for help.

Good location, 5 mins walk from the train station and 25 min walk to the main Piazza Maggiore. Once you are at the Maggiore you are within walking distance of all the sights. The room was spacious, very clean and the bathroom looked brand new with a good shower. The staff were very friendly, we had left our UK adaptors at home and the hotel were able to lend us one until we found a solution. We didn’t have the breakfast, which was €15 a day, as we preferred to eat out so can’t comment.

The plug sockets in the room were a bit hit and miss as to which ones worked.

This is a high quality hotel in a location close to the train station. The room had a king size bed and a generous sized bathroom. The E12 buffet breakfast was excellent. My wife requires gluten free food (coeliac) and the options for breakfast were the best she’s experienced in ANY hotel. The staff were very helpful too. The city centre is about 1.2km away-a pleasant 15 minute walk, mostly along covered footpaths with Bologna’s famous porticos.

Nothing to dislike here. An earlier negative review by a traveller from North America appears to have little experience of European travel.

Sadly, men-staff was very haughty. We felt truly umwanted... Idk if it was due to our backpacks, sporty outfit, or simply young age? Plumbing issues - we heard everything what neighbours did on the bathroom... Room decor as in the pics, tries to be ducal. But the chairs were broken, and in general the room was overwhelmed with the stuff. Small window.

Extremely clean. Also nice room, it gives off vibes of old Europe luxury not something you normally access for a bit more than 100 euros. I stay at many hotels it is not everyday that I am impressed with the level of cleaniness. Also, super close to the train station.

Nothing. I booked last moment and it wasn’t cheap but it was ok. My expectations were not high because of that but I was so positively surprised by the quality of the room.

The hotel is in an excellent location, a short walk away from the main train station and city centre and close to all amenities. Good size room for a short stay. The staff were pleasant and efficient. The hotel also offers a free storage service for your luggage.

A slight off smell in the shower when we arrived, but soon sorted by staff once they were informed of the issue.
