The property is tucked away at the Southern tip of the old town. Great for walking and close by many sites, restaurants and porticoes. Can be tricky to find by car….trust the street signs! Rooms are pretty: spacious, very clean, large bathroom and wooden floored (very unusual). There is a beautiful brick courtyard with space to sit, dotted by citrus trees and jasmine. I would imagine in late spring and summer this is even lovelier. The breakfast served is expansive and has continental fare including coronetti, toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit and provides a large and delicious selection of the local delicacies: mortadella, salumi, prosciutto crudo and Parmagiano. Plenty of fresh ricotta and mozzarella, too. We parked nearby in a covered and locked lot which is a benefit. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Only thing that could have been better was having to ask the staff to unlock our car when we wanted to use it. This was not an inconvenience as they were always available to open it for us. Was really closer to valet service.

Everything worked! It was updated, clean, comfortable. Modern scheme adapted to an old beautiful property. My room was quiet as I requested. I was at first given a room facing the windows of another property on the street. Thankfully, after talking to the manager, he was able to accommodate my original request and give me a garden view. The garden area was nice for breakfast.

The rooms are small. Not a lot of natural light made its way into my room. The breakfast scrambled eggs were in kind a soup making me wonder if they were from a powder mix.

Great location close to the centre and restaurants. Lovely breakfast and comfortable room. Early check in which was much appreciated.

The bathroom in our room wasn’t one of the renovated ones seen online. It was perfectly fine but a bit tired and shower leaked a little.

The location was perfect for us—just a 5-minute walk to the center and square, where the best shopping and restaurants are. We loved being so close yet on a quiet, safe street. The restaurant across the road was our favorite! In fact, we enjoyed the hotel and restaurant so much that we extended our stay at both. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious with lovely interiors, and the breakfast setting was divine—an indoor garden-like space that felt so serene. The staff were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We absolutely loved Bologna and will definitely return to this city and hotel!

Lovely hotel with a nice outdoor breakfast area. Breakfast was included and was very good. Room was large, comfortable and very clean. Very nice and helpful staff. Good location, a little out of the main tourist areas (which meant it was very quiet) but easy walking distance to all of the sites. Two nice restaurants very close to the hotel.

There were mosquitos in the outdoor areas. The room we were in had a small window so not a lot of natural light.

One of the highlights of our stay was dining at the hotel's garden cafe for breakfast. The buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, from freshly baked pastries to eggs. The quality of the food was exceptional, and the service was prompt and attentive. Overall, the Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of top-notch service, luxurious accommodations, and excellent location made for a truly memorable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort and hospitality during their visit to this city.

The bathroom was beautiful original tile but could have been cleaned a little better.

Smooth checkin/checkout; helpful, friendly staff; cool courtyard area; nice breakfast with plenty of choices; large bathroom and enclosed shower stall (might be the best bathroom we'll encounter on our trip, we'll see...not sure if all the bathrooms are this big, maybe only for larger rooms?).

No conditioner in the shower and no refill available throughout the hotel (not a big deal). Room for three was pricey, but what isn't in Europe in the summer.

The breakfast was varied with plenty of options and excellent coffee. The garden is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and helpful, especially in the breakfast room - "the Orangerie". Our room was spacious with a large bathroom and plenty of toiletries for our stay. There are two very good restaurants on the same street so you don't have to walk far for a good evening meal after a day of touring.

It's a minor detail but a fruit salad or more vegetables available at breakfast would be great.

We recieved a warm welcome and assistance with our multiple heavy bags 😅 we stayed only for one night, as our flight was early the next day. (Would definitely book a longer stay on our next trip to Bologna!) and despite leaving before the breakfast started, the concierge made us two cappuccino and coordinated our taxi for us. Excellent service and charming accommodations! We also liked the quiet neighborhood and easy walk to Piazza Maggiore, great location.

Friendly employees. We had particular request about the room which was immediately taken care of. 10 min by foot to the cathedral. Large garden 4 min away for jogging. Great breakfast. Again, friendly employees.

Parking is an issue, as in all the cities in Italy. They do issue a parking ticket for the blue zone, but finding a slot can be a challenge. Large parking available ca. 800 m next to the garden.
