A pleasant stay. The room and the bathroom were clean and modern. The common areas were clean and smelled good. There was a water machine for the guests to use which was really good. We arrived around 21h00 and were able to do an automatic check-in with the hotel owner communicating with us via phone. The owners were helpful and were alwayas available during our stay. Good location, in between the city center and the train station. I would definitely recommend this place.

The property is in a very good location about 10 minutes walking from Bologna Centrale train station and also about 10 minutes walking from the 2 Towers. The room is very clean, soundprooved from the other rooms (unfortunatelly Not also from the halway), we have water dispenser and espresso machine on the halway.

The English communication with the host can and should be improve. We figured it out where the location of Ambra is but it might be difficult for some other travellers. Also there is noise from the halway from the entrance door opening/closing or when any of the other guests leave (we were waked up very early by another couple leaving)- soundproof also to the halway door would be ideal.

Good location that's not to far from the station and within walking distance from all the maim attractions. The hotel is small, with only a few rooms, but this was nice as there was never too much noise from other guests. Our room was large too, which was great. Staff were also welcoming and helpful with directions.

There isn't a specific area for luggage storage, and we were advised to leave our luggage outside of our room to collect later. I wasn't too worried because the area is only accessible by hotel guests, but something to keep in mind if you have valuables in luggage.

I absolutely loved the location. Beautiful view towards a boulevard with historical buildings. 15 minute walk from the Central Train Station, 10-15 minute walk to Piazza Maggiore, plenty of Restaurants, Cafes and bars down the street. The host was really nice and helpful with directions, we were able to make an earlier check-in, and leave our bags after check-out for an extra couple of hours.

It was a little disturbing the fact that the bed had a plastic cover under the sheets. I understand that it is probably to protect the mattress but it gets really hot sleeping on plastic and it makes a squeaky sound every time you turn. Not a big problem for our one night stay.

The B&B Ambra are 6 rooms with one common kitchen open for breakfast, there is no reception and no other facilities in the facility. Location was pretty good between the train station and old town, easily reachable. Everything is modern, fully renovated very lately. My room was huge, very clean und with all necessary appliances. There is fridge in the corridor and water to use. In the room the kettle with tea was available. Wi-Fi worked well.

There is big Piazza next to place and after dark I did not walking there, it is not very pleasant place. The breakfast was truly poor. Coffee, juice, yoghurt and some sweets. I would hope maybe for a bit more.

The place was eccellent, in a central spot of the city. A short walk from the railway station. A supermarket PAM not far a away. A shadowed park Montagnola just around the corner. When we arrived a kind lady showed the places and explained everything. We left our luggage there while the room had been cleaned. The room was spacious facing towards Via Irnerio, some noice there but personally I don't mind. Everything works, shower, hot water, towels, hair dryer ecc. The kitchen equipment was awesome: coffee machine, fridge with milk, yogurt, juice, butter ecc. In the morning a fresh ciambella and another pie arrived + some snacks. All sweet which suits me in the morning. We saw rarely the personal and other guests. All in all we were just fine and will definetely come back.

For the price was fantastic- great location for walking to main attractions and lots of great restaurants and bars! Staff were really friendly and helpful with great recommendations. Room was very clean! Really appreciated the 24hr kitchen with lots of space to store our personal drinks in the fridge. We tend to not eat breakfast so the small baked goods were perfect!

It is a little bit hard to find but based on previous reviews I was prepared and found it pretty quickly. Beds were a little hard for our preference but hard to complain based on price and location.

Nice place altogether , very clean, quiet and comfortable. In an excellent location and close by to most things in the area. Check in and out was super easy too!!

The shower in our room would run cold for quite some time. Meaning if you got in the shower and it was hot it would then turn cold minutes after so you wouldn’t have a consistent warm shower.

Room was superbly comfortable, beds were great, and the bathroom was very good. Good location reasonably close to the train station, and a good assortment of restaurants nearby. The ladies taking care of the property were very lovely but they speak almost no English - may be a problem to some but we still managed to communicate fine with the help of Spanish knowledge.

The building elevator is very small and was rather annoying to use (two doors to close manually, if anybody do not close them properly the elevator is stuck where it is until someone go and close it properly). That's not a fault of the hotel, but it was annoying anyway (but also somewhat common in old buildings in Italy). Breakfast was VERY simple: bread, butter, milk, yogurt and pies (a few), so it felt a bit hard to feel satisfied with the choice given. Ham/salami and cheese would have gone a long way to make it better (too many sweet choices).

We spent here 2 nights. We had there all what we needed. After the long trip on foot around the city, we could rest on the comfortable beds. It is important for us. This hotel has the ancient lift. It is fantastic. By the way, you can leave your luggage there, after your check out, staffs are polite.

It is very difficult to find some minuses.
