The hotel was excellent! The room was far better than I expected. The beds were very comfortable, there was enough space in the closets and the bathroom was very big. They cleaned the room everyday, they also have laundry room in case you need it and lockers to leave your baggage . The location was very good, 10 min walk to Piazza Maggiore and 15 min to the central train station. But the best about the hotel was the staff, especially Clarissa and Lia! They were the most kind and helpful staff I have ever encountered in a hotel! Big plus the communication via WhatsApp. I would definitely stay again and I sure recommend it to everyone!

The hotel is in a very good location, 15 minutes walk from the central train station, 10-15 minutes walk from all the central sites. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. There is no lobby, but there is a reception office with charming and helpful people. There is no buffet breakfast, instead you can get a boxed breakfast for 7 euros Around the hotel there are restaurants, cafes and supermarkets.

The hotel is on a main road (regular urban) with traffic (buses & cars) and when the windows are open you hear the traffic noise (no smoke or unpleasant smell only noise) when the windows are closed you hear almost nothing, it didn't bother us.

We had full independency in terms of moving in and out of the building. It is relatively close to the city centre and the train station(which is great if you are planning to visit the Ferrari museum for example). Clear instructions were provided for services or requests, communication was smooth and easy with the staff. There is a laundry room in the basement and you can store your baggage in lockers there for no additional fees(even after check out).

It is a minor inconvinience but I was not aware of the local tax which is not included in the price. It could be have been my oversight but I do not remember any notification about it.

Exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a room as opposed to one of the apartments and everything was fantastic. The room is very well equipped, and I loved the interior design and feel of the space. The aircon is excellent and the communal kitchen area (which is rather generous for only 3 rooms to share) was very well stocked with free tea and coffees. The location is great, other reviews have talked about the area being slightly dodgy, but we didn’t feel unsafe at all and there’s lots of cool bars and restaurants a stones throw from the hotel. For the price point we paid, it is the best value for money I have ever received, it felt like staying in a luxury hotel. You can tell a team of people have thrown a lot of time and care into making a thoughtful hotel. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here if they are stopping through Bologna.

Very modern, well equipped, clean and comfortable apartment. Can tell that they have anticipated all the guests’ needs. Loved the common area for washing machines and a dryer that was free for guests (only pay for detergent if needed). Very smooth processes for checking in late and leaving luggage at the apartment after check out. This was probably the best property we stayed in during our trip. Also located near food, and within walking distance of both the train station and the old town.

Nothing Except if you are sensitive to street noises, you can definitely hear the excitement from the bars/eateries on Friday/Saturday nights

I book the Almarossa whenever there is availability when I go to Bologna. I like the apartments, I like the location, I like the staff at reception. There is a handy laundry room, public transportation, supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants and shops nearby. All places of touristic interest are within walking distance, and the university quarters are nearby. Central station is also reachable on foot. I will continue booking this hotel when available on my futures trips to Bologna, because I feel at home and comfortable here.

This last time there were three things, which is very unusual: (1) I found that the trash from a previous stay had not been taken out. (2) The TV had been disconnected from the antenna and live TV was therefore not available when I first arrived. Because reception closes at 19:00, I waited until the day after to get someone (the always excellent and resourceful Clarissa) to fix it. (3) The laundry soap had ran out and not been replaced. Maintenance of all appliances and supplies should be carried out every time new guests check-in.

Stayed in the Deluxe Studio which was very clean and comfortable. Great location. Lia checked us in on a Sunday, as she happened to be doing a quality check at the hotel and because it would save us from waiting in a queue on Monday morning. She gave us a lot of recommendations for food and sights as well. This is a welcome and a level of service that you don't get in a lot of places these days and it was much appreciated.

Via Imerio is indeed very busy and loud but they provide earplugs. If this is a problem, ask for a room at the back of the hotel.

Location was great, 10 min walk to Bologna Centrale. Very spacious apartment, clean with all the amenities you need - glasses, cutlery, table cloth etc. They take recycling very seriously hence so many different bins to segregate your rubbish. Very well working AC, big comfortable bed, amazing water pressure, regular tower change. We arrived well before the check in and we were given the room immediately. Highly recommended.

I only gave 9 of 10 because we all learn from feedback. I’m going to be a little bit picky here but there are important things like refilling our shower gel dispenser. On the last day we had to use the shampoo to wash. Or we couldn’t find any spare rubbish bags. The apartment is clinically clean and empty and I know this helps with cleaning, so there are no rugs or carpets, night stands and stools are metal, no pictures on the walls. This didn’t bother us however it felt a little bit too clinical to me. If you are not used to street noise, this might bother you too. As I live in the city centre, I’m resistant to noise.

A very nice hotel in the central part of Bologna, right next to a supermarket and very close to a lovely big park. The room was spotless and the AC worked fine. The check-in process was smooth and the staff was very helpful. Good value for the price too.

The windows did not insulate well against the noise outside; there was construction work going on late into the night, plus cars making a lot of noise in the street, and you could hear all that pretty loudly.
