Yes, it was small and charming

The room I had was on the ground floor at the front of the hotel. The street was immediately outside of my window. And as a result, I was disturbed by noise. So I had to refrain from opening the curtains and window. I think that triple glazing would do a lot to cure the noise.

The breakfast was lovely with a wide variety of choices and all the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel is very central and it's easy to reach everything in the city. The hotel staff gave us a list of good restaurants to try in all price categories which was really helpful. They make lovely coffee as one would expect in Italy.

On first approaching the hotel we noticed a lot of graffiti in the streets around it but we learned that this can be attributed to the high number of students around...many of who were in and around the square nearby, but the overall atmosphere in the area was very good vibrant.

The room was comfortable and quiet. Facilities were all good - but not lavish or state of the art if that's what you are looking for. Breakfast was great. There was a very good buffet but my favourite was your egg or ham and cheese order was made fresh for you by the lovely staff. Everyone on the staff was great with some stand out members being reception, the boss breakfast lady and the bar. If you are looking for small and comfortable (and charming) this really is the place to go.

In a perfect world I'd have liked a balcony and a little swimming pool. But we knew that wasn't what we were getting :)

The hotel is small but very nice inside. The decor is stylish and comfortable. The staff was exceptional both at the front desk and at the breakfast, we had a couple of special requests and they were fulfilled in a timely matter. The breakfast selection was really wonderful with both a buffet as well as warm dishes. The room was spacious and nicely appointed. Also they had good recommendations for restaurants.

The location is central, just off a main piazza but the small street, where the hotel is, is smelly and seems a bit run down. Also there is no parking nearby, as it is in the restricted area, so we had to bring the car to a parking garage ( again not unusual for hotels in the center of the city)

As a family of four quickly passing through Bologna, we were very happy with our hotel choice. Check-in was fast, the staff were excellent and our room was beautiful. We were very pleased to receive a complimentary fruit bowl and a hand written note on our bedside table (wonderful touch) and we returned after dinner to find slippers and chocolates left by the beds. These small gestures really made our stay special. Location is great, you are very central and can walk everywhere. We parked our car at one of the many paid secure parking lots and walked the 10minutes to the hotel. They will also store your luggage after check-out if you want to see more of the city. Breakfast was a buffet selection of fruits and pastry’s and the option to choose from the menu (pancakes, eggs etc). Very happy, would highly recommend.

Excellent, staff, perfect breakfast with one of the best breakfast hosting, ever, Great location only about 10mins from the centre. small bar area, smaller than the photos sugget. Chocolates left each night on the bed. If we went back would probably try somewhere else, but woudl also stay here again. Reception were great. The staff make the hotel.

It is near the university and the streets around it look a little rough, lots of graffiti and all the things that go with student nightlife nowadays ! .Once in the Hotel you feel very safe and we never had a problem and no worse than parts of London. No tea/coffee tray in the room and the shower head kept falling down. The picture of the main square and shwoing the twoes in the Hotel pictures was not taken from the hotel.

The breakfast was brilliant: Fresh fruit, yougurt, croissants, omelets, scrambles, pancakes, waffles etc. The staff was so nice and helpful. And great with the airconditioning, when theres a heatwave. The room was small, but it works. Close (5-10 mins walk) to city center, restaurants etc. We would probably stay here again.

The junkies/homeless sat across the street or around the corner 24/7, to fix, drink, sleep - which made us a bit uncomfortable. And if they were removed by the police, they went 200 ms away a the plaza - checking us out… that was not very nice. We know its not the hotels fault and that all cities have junkies/homeless people.

The location is absolutely amazing as you are in walking range of everything you would like to see (and taste) in the city. However, on top of that, the staff will spoil you from the moment you walk in to the second you walk out. Cookies in your room, great breakfast and great service, fast check out. It feels more like you're staying with friends. Would definitely go back.

Location within all major attractions, easy walking, porticos useful for keeping out of any rain. Many offers of coffee at breakfast, which included cooked options if you had any room from the previous day's gastronomic grazing in town! Very clean with attentive staff. Would certainly recommend this place.

Just on the edge of the student district, which could be a little daunting at night. Messy graffiti could spoil the first impression for some people, but we would like to say that Lisbon is much worse.

Lovely small hotel with very helpful staff, our room was big, although we were upgraded which was a pleasant surprise. Excellent breakfast in quite a small breakfast room, means that you have a to book a time for it. Really pleasant stay overall.

The hotel is very near the Opera House/Theatre in the student quarter, there is a lot of graffiti nearby, which can give an adverse impression, but most of it is political rather than offensive, I even spotted some in Latin.
