We had a great stay at this hotel in Bologna. The location was excellent — about a 10-minute walk to Piazza Maggiore, very close to the university, and within walking distance (around 20 minutes) from the train station. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful — we were even able to leave our luggage after checkout, which was a big plus. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect . We will definitely stay here again if we go back to Bologna! Bologna is a very lively Italian city, and this hotel was the perfect place to stay.

The staff here are very friendly, the room was large, extremely pleasant and comfortable (some rooms have balconies), the shower room spotless and large. The location is perfect for the university area (with the excellent, atmospheric Trattoria Belle Arti a mere 50 metres away). It's around a 20/25-minute walk to/from the central station and the airport Marconi Express. Leaving luggage if you arrive early is not a problem, and there is also a nice day room for travellers to use if they wish. Internet was excellent.

Nothing really. Breakfast is a bit so-so (different breads would be good?) but this is a small thing - I have stayed here before and will always stay here when in Bologna!

Check-in was very easy. the location of the hotel was great, quick walking distance from all downtown places. Hotel staff was very friendly. While I did not try the breakfast at any time because I always left very early (or slept in and had to leave quickly to catch a meeting or bus), there is a mini bar in the room with water bottles that was very helpful.

All I would recommend to the hotel is to have a blanket in each room available. At least this time, my room did not have a blanket. I like to use AC to sleep and then cover myself up well so could have been better if I had a blanket, but certainly not a deal breaker, as the temperature was ok.

The hotel was spotless, well decorated and had a lovely roomy feel to it. Lovely fluffy, bright white towels. The breakfast selection was incredible and everything we had was delicious including the coffee. There is a little lounge area which was welcome to get ourselves sorted before leaving for the airport.

The air conditioning unit in our room was a bit confusing and didn’t cool the room to the temperature we selected. It was 37 degrees so this was important. It would have been nice to have some basic global news channels on the TV.

Location really good , walking distance to city center; plenty of options to eat around the hotel; room was ok, not spectacular, but all basic needs; breakfast was good, appreciate the different options

We selected a room for 4 people, which indeed, had all four beds, but they achieved that as the cost of compressing the space, then it is very small space for all , adding bags and others make it hard. Also there is now elevator, explanation given is that because it is historic building it can't be modify, yet we have seen in other Sites, how different hotels get creative , at minimum to move 'bags' up and down,

I stayed at Hotel Accademia during a solo trip and had a great experience. The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the location is excellent — right in the heart of Bologna. The breakfast was lovely, with plenty of options to start the day right. Only think - There’s no elevator, which might be a challenge if you have heavy luggage, but the staff were very kind and immediately offered to help me carry it upstairs. Overall, a great stay. I’d definitely come back!

Reception staff were great and breakfast was very good too... and I liked the coffee. Parking on the back of the property is very handy, however it needs to be booked in advance! This is still a better option than trying to find parking on the street as the hotel is in the restricted car zone, i.e. only cars with permits are allowed. If you park at the hotel, they will arrange this for you. Location is great too - it is in the centre and in a the university part of it. If you need somewhere very quiet, this is not for you. If you are looking for a bit of life, then this location is superb.

There is not much space in the bathroom.

The hotel is a couple of streets away from the historical center and about a 15 minute walk from the train station so, all and all, pretty well placed. It is relatively small but the room and beds were fine, nothing to complain about. I would add they had two beds which in my book is better than one huge bed. I love my son but don't wish to sleep on the same bed as he (kicking kind of discomfort) so I really appreciate when hotels offer a second small bed for family rooms.

The hotel is right in the center of the city so noise can be an issue. In my experience, some family arrived to the building behing late at night and had an animated discussion for a good 30 minutes. Otherwise it was quiet enough. The hotel has no elevetor. That is not a problem for me but good to know for people that might have mobility issues.

Great location and staff is warm, very friendly. I saw the staff helping guests making calls for train reservarions or other things numerous times. You can easily walk anywhere and easily access the train station with a shor bus ride or a walk. Breakfast was great with a lot of options.

The hotel doesn’t have an elevator and you have to take stairs - which the hotel communicates very clearly so no issues there. It might be difficult for people with limited disability or have difficulty taking the stairs. I also just wished there were more hangers in the room. There was 3 and was a bit difficult for me who came for a week and had a lot of formal attire to hang :)

Hotel was conveniently-located an easy walk from the station and a great location for wandering all over the city by foot. Private room was small but comfortable and had everything I needed--though the view onto the inner courtyard wasn't much of a view--only air conditioning units. The in-room private bathroom was surprisingly spacious. All very clean, staff friendly, and it is in Bologna, my favorite city. Breakfast was nice with lots of options. And I was able to check in early and leave my luggage in storage after check out time. I'd stay there again.
