This B&B is perfect for the solo traveler or a couple that enjoys privacy. It is conveniently located and a ten minute walk from the train station. The hosts live down the hall and are kind, helpful and accommodate preferences. A nice touch is the delicious breakfast served at preferred time that includes homemade bread, fresh juice, hot and cold options and, of course, coffee (on top of the espresso machine in the room). The room is spacious and comfortable with a desk and table for sitting, and also has a full bathroom. The location is perfect for walking in the city. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and plan to recommend to friends and family! Thanks to the hosts for making my stay as comfortable and convenient as possible!

Everything was beyond our expectations, 1. The host was very nice and helped us with information about the city. 2. The menu for breakfast is very tasty and the host brings room service :) 3. The room is located near the city center and 10 min walk from the central station 4. The room was very clean and cleaned every morning 4. We arrived at 23:40 and the host Rosella waited for us 5. Our last day we left our baggage all day keeping the keys with no extra cost We hope we return again in the future :))

Everything was perfect! Not only the location (a 10 minute easy walk from the piazza maggiore), but also the room and bathroom, which were really spacious and equiped with everything you could need. But, the best of all was by far the breakfast, with plenty of choices and all home made. It was an absolute pleasure to feel like at home and spend two days in casa Salbego. If we go back to Bologna in the future we wouldn’t consider any other place to stay in.

Lovely hosts, very friendly and accommodating :) The bespoke breakfast each morning was superb and we could choose what we would like and what time we'd like the breakfast at. The room itself is very comfortable, has a separate entrance, it's super clean with nice touches, close to great restaurants (we'd much recommend Le Moline), and within walking distance to many landmarks. Would definitely stay again when in Bologna!

Rosella and Luca were more than welcoming. We were helped with our bags using the small luggage lift to the first floor . Luca explained everything for us . We had our own private entrance . Bathroom with everything you need including bathrobes . The bedroom has a desk, a small table and chairs for our breakfast , a station for tea and Nespresso coffee . A good size closed wardrobe, luggage racks too . Extremely comfortable bed , made up daily during cleaning , and new bed linen on the third or fourth day ….forget which . This is a superb family run flat with a terrific view of the street . Fully heated and cooled . We will be back !

Wonderful, comfortable room and bathroom in a superb location. Easily accessible to the train station and the major sites of Bologna. Area is also full of good restaurants, nice shops and a grocery store. Italian breakfast (coffee and croissant) is close by in a popular and delicious pastry shop. Highly recommend!

Breakfast was with a voucher for a fantastic coffee shop around the corner. The location was in the middle of a active area, lots to see and ten minute stroll to the very center of the city… Simply fabulous !

Access to an elevator for our luggage, but it was only one floor.. Shower and Bathroom was very nice and modern.

It was a supper stay. We felt as we were at home with grandmother. The owner so kind and helped us with everything. The apartment in the typical old building, with high ceiling... and after recontruction with modern restroom. Apartment is clean. Location is supper. It is middle between train station and city center. We can walk everywhere.

Finding the property might be little difficult because there is no sign at the entrance of the building.

Hosts went out of their way to ensure that our stay was perfect. We had some terrific restaurants right outside our door and the included breakfast was superb. Area was much quieter than we expected. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much.

Absolutely nothing. For a B&B, this accommodation was far above our expectation and better than the 4-star hotel we stayed at in Florence.
