My stay at Hotel Cavour was wonderful. I arrived when it was already dark and the reception was open and ready to get me checked in. The staff were super friendly and when I asked them to open a bottle of wine for me, they were ready with the bottle opener! The hotel is in an awesome location. It was very quiet during my stay as well. An added bonus was the nice breakfast with the free cappuccinos! I'd stay here again!

It was perfect

Room: I loved that the kids had their own separate, dedicated space within our one hotel room. This gave us all a little more elbow room. Location was perfect! 3 blocks to the heart of the centro strorico, yet on a quiet street surrounded by marvelous restaurants. Breakfast was lovely! There was something for everyone, and enough to get us off to a great start: pastries, eggs, bacon, yogurt, fresh fruit, and delicious coffee. Breakfast was included, coffee incurred an extra charge because they made it on-order.

I wish we had more time in Bologna!

I recently stayed in this hotel, and it was good. The staff at the front desk were attentive but the lady at the breakfast room was unfortunately very arrogant and was obviously not at her place. We just left to get our breakfast in a place nearby to avoid her bad mood. The hotel's location is ideal, offering easy access to key attractions. Additionally, the comfort of the rooms was good – they were spacious and very clean. I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a prime location, and comfort. I would just take it without breakfast as their are very nice place around.

The property was in an exceptional location. It was really lovely inside and very clean. Rooms were really big and the bathroom was huge and all newly renovated. Breakfast was included and it was ok. Nice soaps and lotions in the bathroom.

It was really strange that it had a little area with a fridge but no kettle or coffee machine. Not a single thing. The fridge had bottles of water in it so we assumed they were complimentary as there was no mention of a charge but we were charged when we left. We were a little annoyed just on principle as there was nowhere on the premises to get a drink of water as the bar never appeared to open and there wasn’t even a glass in the room to have a drink.

I enjoyed everything about this hotel except for the sofa bed I slept on. It was severely indented and could use replacing. The breakfast was average, nothing terrible about it but also nothing to write home about. The location of the hotel is great. Very central to the stores and restaurants and I felt safe walking even very late at night. It's also very close to the train station--I walked (with two luggages) when I arrived to the city instead of calling a taxi. There was also a nice flea market going on around the corner from the hotel on a Friday.

Sofa bed was very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced.

Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great selection to start the day. We were lucky to find parking close to the hotel, and the hotel even provided a city authorization that covered the whole day, which was very convenient. The receptionist was exceptionally nice and helpful, making check-in smooth and welcoming. Our room was outstanding—spacious, very clean, with a beautifully renovated bathroom. The towels and bed sheets were fresh, soft, and of high quality, which made our stay even more comfortable.

The location was perfect. It was close to the city center, a manageable walk to the train station and just across the road from Franco Rossi's Restaurant which I wanted to visit as it was mentioned in the John Grisham novel The Broker. The room was a little dated. The bedside lamps were damaged. Breakfast was pretty standard with freshly made coffee brought to the table after ordering. The Reception staff were very helpful.

Great location just a short walk to the piazza and church. When we were there they were doing major work on the tram line in the adjoining street but it didn't interfere with us at all. We used the quad room with 4 beds for our family and it was great. Breakfast was nice and offered a selection of things. Staff were friendly and it has a great little courtyard inside if you want to step out for a bit.

No air conditioning. It wasn't too hot, but the rooms got warm fast. If it's summer I'd imagine it could get hot.
