From the moment I stepped into the room, I could tell it was something special—in the best way possible. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy ambiance, spotless cleanliness, and a fascinating view. The building's rich history added even more charm to the experience. Staying at Cristina Rossi B&B truly immerses you in the authentic Bolognese lifestyle, making it a perfect choice for anyone looking to soak up the Italian vibe for a few days. Plus, the breakfast is exceptional—far beyond the standard offerings of most hotels and B&Bs. I highly recommend it; it’s unlike any breakfast I’ve ever had in a hotel!

Friendly, everything explained/shown. Secure. Access anytime. Option to re-use towels. Rooms attended daily. Water provided. Further toiletries available to guests housed In a chest of drawers. Messages/emails answered. Handy map is available. Location is ideal for both the train station, & the main areas for sightseeing. Continental breakfast was fresh & plentiful & more than adequate.

Observations noted: A toothpaste stain I could easily see on the side of the wash basin on arrival was still there on departure. Radiator, I used once after getting wet in the rain; took several hours to get hot. The shower area itself is minimal regards manoeuvrability/room, & be careful of the curtain covering the drainage else it may flood out. Can get a little noisy if a room/furniture is being accessed/changed. Little expensive overall, but far better than the expensive hotels, & for a few days a b&b is a bit more personal & perfectly adequate really.

The accommodation is in a fantastic location, 2 minutes from Piazza Maggiore. For guests arriving by car, the parking facilities at this location are a huge advantage. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. Breakfast was fine.

The room and especially the bathroom were a bit cramped. It would have been nice to have a place to put the shower gel in the shower. The breakfast was good, but could have been a little more varied. But these are just minor details.

Lovely stay, staff helpful and welcoming. We arrived very early and could drop off our bags and have a little walk around bologna, then returned for coffee. Accommodation typical of bologna properties. If you want ultra modern rooms etc then don't stay in the centre of bologna,go find a new build/hotel on the outskirts of Bologna but you will miss out on the experience of what makes this city great. Our room was quiet and comfortable, plenty of hot water for shower after a long day walking around. Light breakfast available in the morning don't expect a hotel continental breakfast as Italians don't have a large breakfast. What was available was perfect for our needs. Namy was lovely and went out of her way to be helpful and arranged are stay well.

If you have mobility issues than I would make sure you booked the lower rooms as the stairs could be a problem to some. Room had a small fridge but I think in the future they should possibly replace this as they weren't effective in cooling but it's a very minor thing. Fresh filtered water is available everyday so plenty to drink.

Namy was super friendly and gave us a great welcome. The room was clean and comfortable just as shown in the photos, the location is just great! 16 minute walk from the train station and just in the heart of the centre a couple of minutes away from Piazza Maggiore. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but there are sooo many options around the city centre for food in general, the staff will surely recommend gladly. Honestly nothing negative to say, perfect place!

The central location was amazing. The staff were exceptional: they stayed late to check me in when my bus arrived late, and Namy gave me so much helpful information about the city when I arrived. She literally gave me a map and outlined the city's important neighborhoods, locations of tourist attractions, and recommendations for non-touristy bars and restaurants. She also gave me her WhatsApp and was always available to answer questions; she is so kind, friendly, and patient! My room was very comfortable and quiet - even though the B&B is in the city center, I really couldn't hear outside noise.

I did get locked in my room once because the key and lock are a bit outdated, but the staff responded to my request for help immediately, and I had no other issues with the door. The AC also could have been stronger (it gets really hot in Bologna in the summer!), but I probably didn't understand the remote control, and it was adequate for the time I was there.

Great location in the very centre of Bologna, clear instruction regarding entering the building when you arrive late night. Room being cleaned every day. Very nice and helpful staff- i.e. no problem with storage your luggage after check-out if your flight is late.

What could be slightly improved is breakfast- we prefer English/American type, but it is a matter of taste.

Monica made the Bed and Breakfast welcoming, warm, inviting, and clean, with a good breakfast.

Nami was condescending on a restaurant recommendation, did not call a taxi for the next day at the time that she said that she did, and did not think to provide the elevator to take the luggage out at checkout.

I cannot stress enough about how wonderful our stay here was! And such amazing value for what you pay. AMAZING location, the room was fantastic (appreciated having a bath & a large bathroom after not having one for some time!), the breakfast nook was beautiful & the hosts were so lovely & accommodating. It ticked so many boxes for us & felt like home everytime we came back. The breakfast was delightful with freshly baked croissants & good coffee, with a really nice selection of pastries. We also did a cooking class by Cristina, which was the highlight of my stay at this b&b. It was such an intimate setting & also some of the best tortelloni and definitely the best tagliatelle ragu we had in Bologna (and we had a lot!). It was so lovely of her to also dine with us & share stories of Italy, her family & her home (: EDIT. Had to add this in too but they were so kind to cover our taxi fare to the station after a little miscommunication around what time we needed the booking. I can say these guys have gone above & beyond my expectations. We’ll be back if we’re in Bologna for sure!

the venue is just in the heart of the city which makes life easier! everything is very close and all in walking distance. breakfast is satisfactory and the hosts were polite and helpful. The room was perfectly warm and clean.

Sometimes at night it could be noisy as the window is on the road and we had the only room with bathroom outside of the room which is a bit difficult when you go in and out but still not a big problem as everything else worked out nicely.
