This place is a real gem, very centrally located on the main west/east road through the city and opposite piazza maggiore. We stayed in room "Francesca" - I did not see any of the others, but we had a nice little balcony with good views, a huge bathroom with excellent shower, and a very large comfortable bed. Extra pillows were found int he wardrobe and everything was super crisp and clean. Bologna is a very walkable city and this hotel is an amazing place from which to explore!

Clean, comfortable, convenient lodging steps from Piazza Maggiore. Spacious rooms with modern amenities; thoughtful attention to detail, like including a slip-resistant shower mat for spouse with balance issues. Excellent support from management. Quiet and low density, in solid, classic building. Breakfast around the corner was fantastic!! Helped us with the 4:00 a.m. trip to the airport! Coffee maker and cookies in room were a welcome addition. Massimo was terrific and helped with anything we needed. Highly recommend!

Can't think of any improvements -- not a high-touch concierge-style hotel; more independent, which we like.

Look no farther! Casa Faccioli is in the heart of everything amazing about Bologna. You practically step out the door and you're in Piazza Maggiore and walking distance to many wonderful restaurants and charming vicolos of Bologna. Our spacious room, with a sitting terrace, overlooked the rustic rooftops with a beautiful view of the towers, church dome and steeple. Massimo is an amazing host, he was very responsive and concerned about our comfort and enjoyment, answering our questions and giving us many recommendations. He graciously offered, without our asking, for us to leave our luggage upon checkout and return to pick it up at our convenience. Massimo is, without a doubt, a No 1 Super Host. Absolutely nothing to dislike about this property.

We really made a good decision by choosing this hotel to stay in Bologna. Not only because it's really in the center of the city and close to everywhere, but also because this hotel is really beautiful even better than the picture. The balcony that has the view of the towers is the value added of this hotel, bed is comfortable, the room is warm, and the toilet is big and clean. Everything is perfect!

Only stayed here for a couple of nights but we thought it was great. Super clean, easy access and right in the centre of everything, a short walk and you're in the middle of the old town. It's managed remotely which was fine, we were given access code to the door so we could drop off our luggage before check in and could store our gear after check out. We did actually meet our host and he was very welcoming and helpful. Communication was excellent, hassle-free! Bologna was brilliant, wished we could have stayed longer, great place and Casa Faccioli met our expectations completely, nice big room and bathroom, lovely balcony to sit and have a coffee looking out over the towers.

Location could not be better. Just off the main road, 30 seconds from the main square, with lots of cafés and restaurants within 100m. Host was responsive and helpful, and allowed an early check of the room to ensure suitability for elderly parents. Room was very spacious, with great coffee machine. Bed was comfortable. Sofas and poufs provided. Bathroom was huge, with very modern shower, and facility for elderly folk to sit down while showering. Old style elevator worked well made it easily accessible. Host provided airport shuttle for €40. This was a last minute replacement booking after we were very disappointed by a 4-star Family and Friends Apartments (avoid them like the plague) booking, and had to relocate my elderly parents at very short notice. Could not have been happier with this little gem. Late 2pm checkout was permitted as a special request, as nobody was arriving on day of departure.

The property is very central only 2 minutes walk from the Piazza Nettuno. It is very quiet in the room despite the central location. The room was very clean and has everything needed for a short stay in Bologna. The bed is a little firm for my comfort. As a solo traveller I felt very secure in Casa Faccioli. Good value for the quality and location.

Everything was perfect during our stay. We had to cancel the first night unfortunately but Filippo was very understanding and accomodating. Once arrived, we found a beautiful and very clean room. It was warm in Bologna so having a room with air conditioning that worked perfectly was very appreciated. The boutique hotel is located perfectly in the city center, on the 4th floor of a beautiful building (with elevator) and close to the main shops, delicious restaurants and breakfast spots. With windows closed the room was also noise free. We will definitely be back when in Bologna!

The location of this property was absolutely fantastic and within walking distance of everything. It is tucked down a little lane way which hosts a number of delightful cafes and a florist. The little Juliette balcony at the back of the unit overlooks terracotta roof tiles and the Cathedral and Bell tower. The only negative for us..... we are tea drinkers and coffee was only available to us in the unit. Only a small thing but the coffee machine did not provide us hot water for a tea bag.... as I said, only a small thing but something the Owner might consider providing the choice of tea and coffee for guests.

Our room was pleasant, functional, clean. Large windows, good AC. Spacious bathroom. Not noisy although located above a busy alleyway of bustling activity which quieted down at night. Breakfast was offered at nearby cafe, limited to certain menu items, but it was terrific and included in our stay. Accommodation was in a great location on the third/fourth floor in a secure building with an elevator located directly across from an Apple store, across the street from a taxi stand and down the street from the Piazza del Nettuno. Highly recommend.
