Everything is exceptional. Beautiful interior, awesome location, fantastic food. The hotel team is very caring and going out of their ways to accommodate the guests - starting from the reception desk, to the restaurant and cleaning. The parking host went an extra mile today to help us when we were struggling to enter the location of the next destination of our journey after Bologna - we were so surprised and happy to find him double-checking on us at the point we were already frustrated in the car and figure it out! Big thanks ☺️

This is a first class property located in the hear of the historic sector of the city. The staff was very accommodating in all respects.For instance when there was a problem getting a taxi to the train station on our day of departure one of the employees drove us in the hotel car at no charge.

We had a little mix up regarding a cooking school class booked by the hotel.Apparently the lady running the school forgot to write it down.In any event the lady from guest services was able to obtain the recipes for us.

This was one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in. Our room was upgraded on arrival, it was beautiful and extremely clean and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble, all the staff were friendly and went out of their way to please. Breakfast was great and served until 11 and check out isn’t until 1pm so you feel very relaxed and not rushed. I had a massage in the spa which was amazing and we used the steam room and sauna which we thoroughly enjoyed. The reception staff are extremely helpful and the bar staff cheerful and friendly. All in all a great relaxing experience.

The building is extraordinary and incredibly beautiful. The room was beautifully appointed, offering a perfect retreat. The staff went above and beyond, creating a magical experience and making you feel special. The hotel’s ideal location provided convenient access to local attractions. Breakfast was delicious and offering various choices - pistachio and raspberry madeleines were my absolute favourites.

Selected because the Grand Hotel Majestic belongs to the LHW(Leading Hotels in the World). I also remembered that my father in law once stayed. They helped book dinner reservation after the opera observation, showing us four candidates. Then we could easily compared between them via Internet based on the recommendation upon preference. ...It was indeed nice restaurant for cuisine, flexible of service and hospitality. They also recommended and suggested nice place to visit. But it was only quite a part of their excellent and warm hearted services. ... Another was when I forgot my wallet at the hotel room I stayed. Hotel officer called me regarding the lost within two hours. My drivers' license and cash and other Important documents were in it. ... I managed to plan returning to the hotel though the schedule was very tight. The services they made were outstanding and helped me a lot. My travel was Indeed saved. I'd recommend this hotel for good travellers visiting Bologna, in Italy, even though I myself was not a good traveler at all.

The location was excellent. Very convenient for seeing the sights. It was also close enough to the train station so that we could walk and take the monorail to the airport on departure. The Reception staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Breakfast was a little chaotic - I feel it could have been laid out a bit more conveniently. The whole fresh fruit in a bowl was under-ripe and not worth eating and I felt it was just there for show.

Exceptional hotel. From the property itself to the staff and all related elements of a stay, exceptional through and through. The attention to detail, patience and passion was evident in every aspect of our stay. The dining options as well as all amenities excellent and more than cover a range of options. Very difficult to be this exceptional at this level this consistently. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Everything! All the staff were friendly, polite, professional, and always smiling and happy to help. The location was great, our room was spacious, and we felt safe, comfortable, and cared for.

Just a personal dislike and, unfortunately, seems the norm in Italy that smoking is allowed in any space not completely enclosed indoors, so the small, 'open' (only above several floors high) courtyard within the buildings next to the dining room allows smoking so not suitable for non smokers if smokers decide to sit there.

Room very small for an hotel of this category, in particular because it wasn’t the lowest type of room category in the hotel. The tv set was broken and the heating was not adjustable. I wonder if they keep “bad” rooms for people that book through bookings.com, which is not ok for this type of hotels.

Nothing that was in control of the hotel. Getting to the hotel was tough due to road closures, but the hotel does a great job with directions to plan accordingly.
