The room is a private room plus bath in a residential home. It is clean and everything works including the air conditioning. The day we were to arrive we were quite late because of a one day rail strike. When we notified her that we weee re e coming but late p, she offered make a reservation for a taxi to pick us up in Viterbo. The property is located close to the sites in the city center.

The B&B is owned by a wonderful, friendly lady named Gillette who lives on the property - you have a large, clean room (big comfortable bed, sofa, table & chairs, closet, bathroom) at the front of the house overlooking the attractive garden which has numerous options for sitting/relaxing amongst the display. It is located on one of the main roads leading to the lake, super convenient for getting either to the lakefront or up into the town square. There is a kettle, coffee machine with pods and fridge in the room. Gillette offers choice of hot breakfast (egg scramble with bacon, toasted cheese sandwich and her own creative fresh fruit juice blend-ups along with lovely big mugs of cappuccino) or a selection of her baked goods (sadly we forgot to try the baked goods selection). We were full until mid-afternoon each day!

A very warm welcome. This is a traditional B&B with a nice breakfast to start the day. It's an easy walk from the centre of town and the lake. Large room with everything you need as a stopover from walking the Via Francigena.

I had washed my clothes the day before in the pilgrim hostel but fellow walkers may wish to know if this option is available here.

Charming room in a private home, but with private access. The host is very kind and offers breakfast options (including scrambled eggs and toast with bacon). Decorated with taste. Good facilities, great location 5 minutes away from the lake and 10 minutes away from the (lower) old town.

Lovely B&B with good view of the village. The host was very kind and generous. Because the place is slightly outside of the village, there is a bit of a walk, but the host gave us lifts in her car, including picking me up from the monastery church at 8am and then driving me and my father 10km to join the Via Francigena.

Just a few meters off my hiking trail. Could do laundry, host gave me soap and drying rack on cute terrace. Bed super comfortable and apartment beautiful decorated

Beautiful, classy, clean and sweet place, with rose garden. Chelesta the host was very lovely and helpful. The bed was super comfortable. Wonderful choice.

Excellent stay. Comfortable. Garden to sit in. Signora is very helpful. Shed for bicycles. Short walk to the lake or into town.

Location - easy walk to Lake Bolsena. Lovely comfortable and secure accommodation. Our host was so welcoming and helpful. One of the very best places we stayed on the whole of the Via Francigena.
