I loved everything about this property. It looks classier than the image. The location is amazing. Right on the lakefront with restaurants on the doorstep. This is not a lake the size of Garda etc but it is unspoilt. The hotel is in pristine condition with a lovely pool. The images do not do it justice. The staff are excellent and attentive. They are not totally fluent in English as their guests are mainly Italian and German. Our room had a massive balcony looking onto the lake. The room itself was a good size. I have no complaints whatsoever. The breakfast was continental with a good selection. Some fresh fruit/berries would have been nice but that is a personal choice and not a negative. There is a very large free car park and also an unloading zone at the front doors. Everything is thought of. I highly recommend this hotel if you plan to visit this wonderful area. Bear in mind that Siena and Montepulciano are only 1 hours drive away too.

I loved everything about my stay at this lovely hotel with my water views. My room was great, breakfast was also but the standout nicest person there was the receptionist. She has great English and did everything with a smile. I’d recommend this hotel or location to anyone. I liked that as a pilgrim I wasn’t looked down on walking in hot, sweaty and dusty with my back pack.

While it wasn’t a problem for me, I thought anyone carrying weight would struggle to fit in the shower door.

The room cost was an off season bargain for a 4 star hotel on Bolsena lake. The room was spotless. I got a large bed even though a single. I'm not sure why I've read bad things about the breakfasts. It's one of the few places that have served a large amount of scrambled eggs. The room itself was very quiet. This was a Francigena rest day for me and I enjoyed it very much.

They had I stalled new floors which gave off a bit of a smell. Not horrific, and likely won't last long.

Beautiful location showcasing what Lake Bolsena has to offer. We had room 305, a corner room with a wonderful view of the lake and environs. Traditional room but classy. Parking onsite was very welcome after a 2300km two week road trip through small, narrow-streeted villages.. The town itself is quite interesting and easy to explore on foot.

The restaurant was closed for the season with limited options nearby for breakfast. No lake exploring options at this time of the year ( late October)

Location was perfect and the pool was fabulous

Air conditioning was old and ineffective - management turn it off during the night and it stays off until lunchtime - it was 35 degrees !

Great location on the lake, with a swimming pool. Unfortunately a downpour stopped me from enjoying that - but no fault of the hotel. Bars and restaurants nearby, very comfortable room

No restaurant onsite, but they provided a shuttle to a nearby restaurant (I didn’t try this) Room had not been cleaned on arrival, reception lady was horrified and apologetic and immediately provided a key to an alternative room

We had the room with a massive terrace, even though it rained a little, we were still able to use the terrace as it was partially covered. Great location with a lovely lake view! We had an amazing stay and the terrace was worth the extra money! Staff were super friendly & helpful.

Room was a bit dated, but impact our stay in any way. Shower & bathroom a bit small, but typical of some hotel bathrooms.

Room by the road was noisy .. Breakfast was excellent .. Location very good.

Noisy by the road and pool steps need attention .. But very good otherwise.

Staff very friendly and helpful, plenty of secure carparking, location next to the lake but close to the centre where there is a good pizzeria and other restaurants.

Large rooms and great location to the beach and promenade.. The water was scalding hot and the windows opened 2 ways

Breakfast could have been better but the staff were very accommodating.
