This has been one of our best hotel experiences ever. Starting with the super friendly host family, who have been so accommodating from the first minute, all the way to the very clean facilities, beautiful interior design, and extensive/tasty breakfast (definitely above the standard). The breakfast room itself was stunning, it was great to start our day there every morning (I attached a photo of it). Upon arriving we immediately felt welcome and cared for, and we loved the character this hotel has. It used to be an old mill, and the host family redesigned it some years ago into this beautiful mix of tradition and comfort, with attention to detail. The bed in the room was also very comfortable and the room was really comfortable and spotless. The hotel’s location was also perfect, basically right in the center and 10 minutes walking to the lake. We will definitely come here again and of course, we can only recommend this lovely and heartful hotel to anyone that is planning to visit Bolsena.

Nothing! Everything was perfect

This is an absolutely lovely property with comfortable and clean rooms located right on the Francigena. The host was amazing and kind. Told us about the town and good places to eat. Really really enjoyed our stay. And breakfast was good too.

There is nothing at all that we didn’t like. The only suggestion that I’d have is that the owners should get a Francigena stamp to stamp pilgrims passports. Pilgrims really love to have the stamps from the accommodations that they stay along the way as a reminder of the wonderful places. You can get a stamp in town. But I’d love to have had one that was specific to this property. All in all, this is an excellent accommodation. And I would stay here again.

Location was good. Even if it was in front of a used car dealership, it was near the church, shops, and restaurants. The room was clean, of a good size, and was on the ground floor; easy to access.

We asked the reception for suggestions on where to eat for dinner. The place was closed on Sundays, so we had to look for another place. We asked where the Via Francigena route was, he said he didn’t know and did not bother to find out or offer to help (btw, it was 2-minute walk from the property). The following morning, we again asked for recommendation for coffee. Again, it was closed. More accurate information and a bit of research would have been appreciated.

Charming room in an old house with stone walls and vaulted ceilings. Room wasn't huge, but big enough to fit a cot as well as the bed. Great services from staff, including recommendations of what to see and where to eat around town. Located fairly close to the centre of Bolsena. Tasty and varied continental breakfast options including fresh coffee, pastries, fruit, meats, breads, etc. Free parking available on site with direct access between car park and rooms.

Excellent location with super friendly and accommodating staff. Dietary requirements were catered for very well at breakfast with vegan food provided in addition to the wide selection already available. Excellent amenities in room; powerful air con & great shower. Off street parking was a bonus in this small town. This place was perfect for our stay.

Great communication, quiet, nice decor in an old building, great design—a nice blend of modern and the past. It was easy to check-in. We visited in March, so an abbreviated breakfast was available if you wanted it.

We stopped in here for 2 nights while walking the Via Francigena. Very comfortable, clean, and absolutely wonderful staff. The rooms are pretty small, but we’ll equipped for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was fantastic.

We would have loved to have slept with the window open but didn’t feel comfortable being on the ground floor, and leaving the window open.

The old building is very well refurbished, decorated, and picturesque. The breakfast was excellent, with a lot of different options, served in a very beautiful room. The staff was very helpful. We arrived there late at night, travelling by car through a very heavy storm, and the owners were waiting for us and guide us until we safely arrived, and park inside the hotel's parking.

The room is relatively small, and there is not a wardrobe, just a big holder for the hangers (maybe it is not easy to fit one on this very old building). It was not a problem for us (we stayed there for just for one night), but I am not sure what we could do if we have much more luggages.

The bed frame was broken in our room and squeaked and sagged in middle. Some staff seemed unhelpful and upset if you didn’t speak Italian.

Exceptional style and attention to detail. Gorgeous remodel of a stone mill from 1541. Comfortable bed, luxurious towels, studpendous shower and a great breakfast. I will be back!

It was perfect
