Location and the grounds. Swimming pool in lovely setting. Breakfast outside with a view of the lake. Easy walk to town centre and attractions. On site parking a great asset!

Apart from breakfast we did not eat in the restaurant. We found the snack lunches to be very dull, but it was great that there was an outside bar by the pool so you could get hot and cold drinks there.

The hotel was in a fantastic position a short walk from all the bars and restaurants directly opposite the lake. It was very quiet as it was down a dead end street. The rooms were spacious and immaculately clean. The breakfast was varied and the grounds were just beautiful. Plenty of sun beds around the pool and lots of lovely covered areas to chill out in. The rooms each had a small patio on the ground floor which was great up hang out wet costumes and towels and they would be dry in the morning. The hotel provided pool towels which they left in the room in handy jute bags. The pool was lovely but you do have to wear swimming caps so take your own or you can purchase from the pool bar.

So this is not a deal breaker for me but the decor in the rooms is quite 1970’s. That may not be to some people’s taste but it did not make a jot of difference to us. There were black out curtains making it far easier to sleep in which I think is great as you don’t get them everywhere.

Fabulous position, lovely sea view bedroom with extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Receptionist Giada, was incredibly helpful.

We really didn’t like the restaurant, the food or the front of house restauranteur. The restaurant was uncomfortably formal and very dated, the front of house man was not particularly friendly or relatable. Despite being the only table dining in the entire restaurant the spaghetti with clams were cold and not pleasant.

This is a beautiful property on the shores of Lake Bolsena. Take a room at the front of the property and you will get a balcony with uninterrupted views of the lake. The rooms a re a good size and have a fridge which is handy.The hotel itself is immaculately maintained and the pool area is very good indeed with plenty of sunbeds (some with their own curtained areas) well manicured lawns and hedges and service from the pool bar. Parking is free and plentiful. The location is excellent and only a ten minute walk from the ancient town centre. On the way you will pass a few pleasant bars and eateries. The owner and staff are very helpful and friendly. Curiously the air-con is controlled at the reception desk so if your room kis a little warm tell them as you leave for the evening and they will adjust it for you.

lovely location on lake front, separated from shore only by a very little used road. set up for Italian disney-style weddings which amuses, huge pool and lots of space. We were in October with 25-28 deg, off season which probably helped

a better breakfast with real fruit juice (always difficult in Italy below a certain budget), agree with others - pay extra for a balcony (we didnt), because they are large and worth it

Traditional internal decor that looked as new and spotlessly maintained. Helpful, friendly staff. The best restaurant food we had in Bolsena. Front rooms have a wonderful view of the lake.

Breakfasts were fine, if not quite the standard of evening meals.

It had everything, location, beautiful pool, lovely gardens, classic building, lovely dining room, ticked all the boxes!

Perfect location and great room

Coffee was always luke warm. I think was a new lady in training so I would not dwell to much on it.

Excellent position right on the lake with a great swimming pool.
