We enjoyed our stay at la Bordigona from the first to the last minute. Susanne and Antonio were so welcoming, gave us the best advice for visits and restaurants in the region. Everything was familiar, easy going and comfortable. We loved the sweet italian breakfast with incredible view, also the location was perfect for our vacation - so many beautiful villages and beaches just around the corner. Thank you so much Susanne and Antonio, see you again one day.

lovely host Susan and place was delightful..neat as the pictures, clean as a whistle, breakfast was delicious with fresh made banana cake , breads and jams..and the most delightful on-site honey.. even the bed was comfortable. Susan was talkative and informative. I doubt the rest of Italy will top this stay ! Highly recommended. Paul & Lili .W

Leaving...could has spent a few nights there a bit more relaxed when we left though

The house offered a peaceful and serene setting about 10-12 minutes drive from Levanto. Surrounded by trees it was very calming. It was immaculately clean and we had a large comfortable room rustically furnished but with modern bathroom. Susan was always around to offer advice on the best places to visit, where to eat etc. and she also helped with reservations on our boat trip for visiting the Cinque Terre.

A very friendly welcome from our host, Susan. She was helpful, and happy to let us store some of our things in her fridge. Our rooms were clean and spacious, and the beds comfortable. Situated in a quiet location, you are sure to have a peaceful sleep. Breakfast was delicious (and typically Italian) and was served on a covered terrace, with beautiful, uninterrupted views of the surrounding tree-covered hills. It included a great cup of coffee and home-made honey which we liked so much we bought several jars to take home with us! A great location for exploring the local attractions such as Cinque Terre, but we used it as a one-night stop-over en route to Verona.

Nothing. It was basic, clean, comfortable and affordable, which is what we were looking for

Susan was the perfect hostess! The room was absolutelly clean and comfortable, with heating in a cold humid night. Safe parking for my motorcycle inside the property. A café nearby, and a nice hike up to Our Lady of Roverano Sanctuary.

La Bordigona is 10 minutes drive away from the highway exit. Suzan and Antonio are wonderful hosts; friendly and helpful. Suzan is English, so there are no problems with communication, even without speaking Italian. Breakfast is Italian; sweet (sliced fruit, fruit juices, various jams, butter and sweet croissants and of course coffee and tea). The rooms are very clean, nicely furnished, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms have a shower and bidet. Parking is possible next to the house. The atmosphere is pleasant and homely (on one of the terraces it is also possible to use a grill and a refrigerator). The location of the guest house is about 10 minutes' drive down a winding road, which is quite normally wide, from the very pleasant town of Levanto. In Levanto, you can leave your car in a secured parking lot (the price is 5 euros per day), for which Antonio will give you the entry code and coordinates. The parking lot is located a 5-minute walk from the train station where you catch the train to Cinque Terre.

Everything is excellent. Very good value for your money

The hosts Antonio and Susan were lovely. They were very accommodating with our last-minute check-in. A beautiful, very clean property with lovely views of the country and a short drive to Levanto. Susan gave us tips on where to go and what to do in the area. "The Pizza was scrumptious!" The perfect spot to stay if you are on a road trip like we were. Highly recommend.

Our host Susan was lovely so helpful and we followed her advice when we left thru the mountains which was spectacular - thank u Susan for the great brekkie and for the lemon flavoured jam! Perfect spot with great views and easy parking - def recommend this place for an overnight stop

Everything was just perfect! The place is super-clean. The owners are charming. The breakfast was lovely, in Italian style, with homemade cake and honey. We were with a dog and that was also ok. Wonderful location to see near towns - not only Cinque Terre but also the closest Levanto. We will be back for sure!
