We booked 2 rooms in this Hotel, one economy and one double with balcony. The hotel staff communicated with us in advance to place the two rooms close together on the same floor. This was very convenient for our family. We made use of the air con as the weather was warm and humid compared to the winter weather we left behind in the southern hemisphere! The location was perfect, close to the train station, so we walked to and from the station at the start and end of our visit. We had 5 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The buffet breakfast was top class. All the staff - reception, breakfast team, and housekeeping, were excellent, friendly and helpful. While the supermarket was very close by, the weather was warm and we did use the mini bar often when we wanted something additional to what we had bought outside- the mini bar prices were good and variety great. The en suite bathrooms were clean and convenient. The beds were very comfortable. A great stay, thank you!

It was ideal for visiting cinque Terre and then travelling onto Genoa The hotel definitely performs and presents above its rating. The staff were welcoming and very knowledgeable. Bikes were available should you wish to use them and beach towels were also available The rooms were immaculately clean and the balconies were lovely to have The centre of Levanto was a few minutes walk away and we are glad we spent some time there too as it was a lovely little place

This was my favorite little hotel in all the places we had stayed from France through Italy. The location is quiet and within walking distance to both the train station and town, and with easy access to the five towns of Cinque Terre. Staff spoke English, yet let me practice my terrible Italian - they were welcoming, friendly and kind, and shared all sorts of tips for exploring the area, where to find a laundromat and grocery store (both very close), and their favorite restaurants. Chiara always had a smile and was extremely knowledgeable about the Cinque Terre area. Breakfast was included in the price and was fabulous - so many choices and options from cold to hot items, including scrambled eggs which isn't common in Italy! The room was large with a sitting area, bedroom with a comfortable bed, good sized bathroom, and little patio area. The hotel had bikes that we could borrow to explore the nearby towns. It was dreamy and I would love to stay at Hotel Carla again!

Location was really good reasonably close to the railway station and sea front. The room was really comfortable with a fantastic shower. Breakfast was great and the breakfast room was smart. Did lack a bit of atmosphere.

Nothing about the hotel generally. Cooked bacon and eggs at breakfast looked like they are put out at the beginning of breakfast and no plan to cook any more if gone. If you went for a later breakfast you had what was left could they not be cooked in batches during the time breakfast is offered. Everything else was great especially the honey! Thank you.

One word: Chiara! She was the best concierge I have ever dealt with in my 50+ years. She took the time to explain things we didn't even think of! She got us beach and dinner reservations but also pointed us to off the beaten path experiences. She upgraded us to a suite for no reason, which simply gave us more space to enjoy our trip! Excellent breakfast in a lovely dining room! Levanto is very walkable and has much to see and do. We parked the car and left it for three days and walked everywhere and took the train to Cinque Terre.

Location, hotel very clean and comfortable, our triple room was very large and loved the varranda. Breakfast was really lovely.

Excellent family run hotel, staff all so pleasant and helpful with great tips on where to eat, places to visit etc. Great breakfast and the offer to pack it to go on mornings with an early start. Slight noise from other rooms but guests were all very respectful about keeping noise down in the evenings. Great base for exploring Cinque Terre and beyond!

Wow. What a GEM of a hotel! Amazing service, everyone was so helpful and went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. Clean, good sized rooms, great facilities and breakfast, bikes and beach towels etc available for use. Short walk into the town but just outside the busiest area so good for parking. Highly recommend for anyone going to Cinque Terre. Close walk to the train station.

Hotel reception gave lots of useful advice for traveling to see the villages, where to eat etc. Reception also provided free beach towels and beach umbrella and also bikes were available to ride free of charge.

The bathroom was great but as it was my daughter and me sharing we would have liked a mirror in the bedroom!- a very minor detail for what was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Very nice hotel, near center as well as train station to cinque terre. We experienced two ladies at the reception and they were tje most kind and helpfull receptionists i’ve ever met. They resolved every request we had e.g. help with parking ans stroring a suitacse even in the day we did not stay in the hotel. Really very supportive and always helpfull. Thank you ladies :) The breakfast was also great ! ;)

I would prefer a room with view to the garden or street (umfortunatelly we had view to a builing).
