Nice staff, GREAT location. Met lots of friendly people that were also exploring cinque terre and sometimes relaxing on the beach. The beach is super lovely. Also Levanto is a really place city to stay in!

beds are good, just note that if you’re over 182 cm tall, you will have less space for sleeping. I’m 182 and it had just been comfortable enough for the whole week I’ve stayed there. Also if you’re at the top bed take the ladder off and to the side so it stands on the ground and “clicked” in the bed. Don’t try to climb up while the ladder is hanging behind the bed..

It’s a hostel, so of course you shouldn’t expect the comfort of a hotel or private apartment. But the place is really nice (they have a long history of hosting guests), the staff are welcoming (really helpful and they seem to care), and the location is excellent - just a couple of minutes from the city center, the beach, and the hiking path to Monterosso that I was planning to take the next morning. The price is also hard to beat in the summer season. I booked last minute, and this was the only spot left in the hostel, while other options in Levanto were much more expensive. You get a key to your dorm, so no one from outside can walk in. The bathroom is inside the dorm, clean, and perfectly fine. The beds are okay, also clean, and they give you clean sheets. The kitchen is okay for a quick bite but not for real cooking (there’s only a microwave). The common areas are not renovated but remain pleasant, with even a small library, and the terrace is super cool. There’s also a washing machine and dryer, though I didn’t use them. Check-in is at 4 pm, but you can leave your luggage earlier, and also store it for a couple of hours after check-out in the morning. The hostel attracts lots of international guests - young people, students, travelers - and everyone was respectful of quiet hours at night.

There was no air conditioning (some hostels in Italy do have it, but I guess the building here is too old), and no fan either. With 36 °C outside and around 30 °C at night, I didn’t sleep well - so next time I’d probably choose a place with air con, even if it’s more expensive. It’s also a pity that there are no lockers available if you want to store your valuables.

The location is perfect!! Levanto is a very nice town, I visited in mid March and it was very quiet, no large groups of tourists. The hostel is very clean, spacious bathroom and nice room. The staff is very friendly. I highly recommend the trail from Levanto to Monterosso (7km); I was the only one the whole way and had beautiful views over the sea and land.

If I had to have one remark, it would be that the beds do make some noice in the night and that if you have the bottom bunkbed, you need to be careful because the matress of the top bunkbed has some ‘spikes’ that you can hit with your head.

I really liked the localization of the hotel and the fact that it had some little common kithen and lovely balcony on the last floor where you can eat your meals and rest after day of exploring cinque terre. Staf was friendly. I would choose Levanto again definitely as my base for trekkings as Levanto is less turisty and calmer but still very lovely and full of Italian charm.

I didn't like the bunk beds that were noisy and were making a loud noise everytime you moved. Also no protection on the side of the bed which is risky if you are moving a lot during your sleep.

Very good location, great option for Cinque Terre. Best pizza across the road. I had a nice room facing the street, there's a shared kitchen with microwave, kettle and fridge only. No stove or oven.

wifi only works while stood in the hallway.

The location is great for doing day trips to cinque terre, with plenty of restaurants nearby and the beach. The hostel itself is interesting, with high vaulted ceilings, a nice sun room and some kitchen facilities. The staff were all very friendly and helpful too!

The room was a bit stuffy, probably because other people in the dorm preferred keeping the windows and shutters shut at night.

Very convenient place to stay if you are visiting Cinque Terre as it is on the same train line (included in the Cinque Terre card) and a beautiful town itself. Excellent pricing, room and bathroom was clean, provide towels for free, try to put people of the same gender together even if you book a mixed room which is nice, has laundry for 7.50€ which worked well. Safe for a female solo traveler!

Beds were a little squeaky but comfortable

Located central, close to the beach, restaurants and shopping centers. It was a great stay for 4 night. The breakfast was good and very adorable, each room had its own bathroom and one receives towels and bed linings. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were even able to print a few things for free.

It was an old building. Due to the location of our room it was very noisy in the evening and during the night. The bottom mattress was saggy and not too comfortable.

Location is great. Levanto is so much more calmer than the Cinque Terre villages and the hostel is on a quiet street around the corner from all the restaurants.

Only that when they say check in isn't until 4 they mean it! I arrived at 2, and the hostel was completely locked up so I had to wander with my bags until it became possible to get in.

The staff is very nice and helpful, and the location is excellent. There is a nice terrace, very close to the beach and also it is a building with historic charme! Also very close to the beginning of the path to Monterosso, which I highly recommend walking.

The rooms can get a bit warm, and the ensuite means you may need to wait quite a bit if you get a particularly slow roommate in the bathroom. Breakfast is okay, it is typically Italian (croissant, bread, jam, yogurt, juice), do not expect continental with lots of savoury stuff!
