Our stay in Hotel il colle was wonderful!! The location is great, just 10 minutes by car from the centre of Monterosso, yet located in a secluded peaceful place. The staff were so kind and helpful, from the reception to the breakfast staff and the cleaning team. We had a problem with our car, and they made sure to give us all the contacts and possible help, even picked us up from where our car stopped working. Overall, exceptional management!!!

Classical Family Hotel, which is mostly freshly renovated already - so new modern bathroom, rooms with walls looking freshly painted etc Very friendly staff, proactive communication via WhatsApp, happy to give you recommendations Free shuttle service to the village down by the sea, super convenient! Free water and orange guide and small cakes when you arrive in the afternoon Amazing breakfast for such a small hotel - the warm croissants were the highlight! We loved the vibe that so many locals came by for coffee and cornetto in the morning (hotel has a small Public bar)

We did not like anything, of course it’s not fancy or super stylish, but very cozy, and Cinque Terre itself is simply expensive

AMAZING breakfast. Generous staff. Accommodating owners who were able to facilitate a rather late check in for me and organize a cab. Beautiful terrace outside. Very comfy beds. Awesome shower. Loved the shuttle system provided Owner speaks several languages including English, French and of course Italian.

This is outside the owner's control, but the late night cab I had to take (after hours check in) took advantage of me and charged an astronomical price for cab fare up the hill. I was exhausted after many hours of travel to get there and not in the mood for an argument with a possibly seedy character in the middle of the night. I paid the 40€ for a 10min drive to avoid a fight but would avoid using any taxi service in monterosso if possible unless you pre-agree to a price or insist on cab meter or are prepared for a fight. Owners are not affiliated with the cab service and provide a generous shuttle service down the hill to avoid this issue.

This property was amazing! The room was very comfortable, we had a small balcony facing the mountain. The staff was very attentive. The breakfast and shuttle were great amenities. Loved it! Hope to be back

It was not actually in town. For precise location put the name of the hotel in google maps because i noticed the address pinned on here is not accurate. But they have the shuttle service which really made up for it and being in the mountain by the sea gave us the peaceful stay we needed.

Received a what's app before we arrived to ask what time we would be there and was greated by lovely staff offering a a warm coffee. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable. The shuttle taxi was used several times because the hotel is up on the mountains but the shuttle was available different times of the day to take you into montoresso. We also enjoyed the selection of breakfast that was available.

Nothing to dislike but I think staff could have explained we needed to take our ID to book the train tickets to the 5 different villages.

Extremely attentive staff! Communication is key for me and they (young gentleman and mature sweet lady) always responded within seconds on WhatsApp. I was cold, and they provided the most glorious thick blanket for me. Shuttle service was efficient and excellent! Truly felt like private car service, running consistently and often! Breakfast was beautiful and glorious! Tons of hot food options!

Shower was on the smaller side. However, water was plentiful and hot! Also, the best hairdryer!

Cute hotel with a lovely outside area. The rooms were spacious and clean. Everyone was super nice and friendly. The breakfast was good with hot and continental options. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to town which is great (as it is located quite far from the town centre)

There isn't really anything that I really dislike. Shower could be a bit bigger and it would be nice to have a small fridge inside the room. However these are nice to have rather than dislikes. It didn't really affect my stay.

Property was clean and well maintained, The staff and owner were more than helpful. they made us a late diner, the next morning the breakfast was great, anything you may want for breakfast. they also supplied a shuttle to Monterosso. Made it easy for us to leave our car at the hotel and not have to deal with parking in town. Bathroom was modern and well appointed, great shower. I highly recommend this property.

There was nothing i didn't like about this property.

The breakfast was excellent there was a great choice and the staff couldn't have been nicer. As a matter of fact all the staff were lovely and extremely helpful. There was a bit of a mix up with our room on arrival but it was sorted quickly and we received a complimentary drink for our trouble.

The distance from the village, I knew it wasn't central when I booked it but it was much farther out than I expected, saying that the hotel provided an excellent shuttle service.

We loved the breakfast. The staff is super nice and the shuttle works perfectly!

The air conditioning doesn’t get below 25 degrees. It was really hot inside the room. We asked for help and they told us that they fixed it, but it was still hot for us :( that was the only thing. One suggestion also is that it would be nice to have a small fridge into the room.
