There is a fantastic view, of course, and a great rocky beach nearby. But besides we also liked the room: quite big, super clean, with lots of light and simple, but new and stylish furniture, the AC, the fan, the coffee machine and minibar - all worked as it has to. And the people are really nice and helpful: whatever we needed, they were there for us. Grazie mille!

It is a small thing and just needs some planning: as there is no breakfast option, and no breakfast places really close, you need to think about it in advance.

The room with the small terrace and the views made the staying quite enjoyable. No restaurant or bar on site but close to the beach and the village centre. Taxi rank in town if you don't feel like walking on the way back.

The hotel looks a bit tired and must have seen better days but I suppose this is reflected on the price. A very tight space between the loo and the shower cubicle, not giving much room for manoeuvre 😁 If you are a train enthusiast, you're in for a treat although it is not a busy track.

It was a unique experience to stay at Il Ciottolo. It definitely isn’t your typical standardised boring hotel! Manuela was very sweet and fast in responding.

The view is amazing! Even though the reception is closing at 19:00, the lady was very kind and waited for us to check in. A big Thanks for that!

View from our room was wonderful and we could easily walk to town. Took advantage of the restaurant discounts. Very nice proprietor.

Nice hotel in a typical old traditional building. Perfect for a one night stopover on our roadtrip. Room was clean and comfortable, if slightly dated. We didn't have breakfast. Good parking.
