The place is run by a lovely elderly couple. It's more of a home converted to a hotel. The view from the room was picturesque. Breakfast was self service but delicious with homemade cookies, cake and jams among other things. The bed was comfortable, the sofa bed was decent too. Parking was on the road but we could always find a spot somewhere.

It's tricky finding the place since it's not on the main road but rather in between two winding roads in a hill. One has to climb several flights of stairs from the road to hotel and the room (perhaps 60-70 in total). This is definitely not for everyone and even more so if you have heavy luggage. It's worth keeping this in mind.

What a beautiful place and wonderful hosts!! My mom and I had the best time staying here. The view was amazing, the breakfast setup was great, but most of all, the hospitality was beyond. We were picked up at the station by Anna, and her husband helped with the suitcases. She even offered me a crutch because I had hurt my foot. Over all an amazing experience. Be prepared for a short, but somewhat heavy way from the town and up to the house. There’s a lot of stairs!

The couple, Anna and her husband, were really nice, really thoughtful and prepared a really good breakfast. They showed us the house, explained everything and asked us to let them know in the morning we were leaving to say goodbye.

The only downside is the hill that we need to walk to get the house (which in an hot day like the one we arrived, was tough to do!), but nothing that spoils the experience and the worth of the reservation. Really recommend, and if we comeback to Recco, we'll definetly stay there.

We only have positive words about our stay. Friendly, professional, clean and did you mention? Friendly! Very good atmosphere where privacy meets everything you need for a happy time. The quality is definitely above the Italian standard. The location is fantastic, the train station and beach, restaurants are within walking distance. It was definitely a pleasant and uncomplicated stay! We got more than we expected!

The accommodation was very cosy and welcoming and it was a great location from where you can explore the whole area. We appreciated free street parking and really enjoyed the private outdoor terrace with beautiful views. Thank you!

Excellent views. Very clean. Good breakfast. Away from the hussle and bussle of the center of town and beach. Accommodation is in the traditional part of the town up on the hill. You can see the ocean from all windows and balcony.

The path to the accom althrough short (less than10 minutes from center) was very steep. And taking a taxi will take the same time because it needs to go into the valley to climb up the hill as well.

Spacious apartment and terrace, friendly host, beautiful surroundings, very tasty crostata, and well-equipped, clean room.

The sofa bed was a little uncomfortable and the place is located on hills so there’s a lot of stairs to get there but it’s worth the view.

Is close to village Camogli and Santa Margherita.

There are a lot of mosquitos in the evening and the acces to the property is difficult for the luggages because there are a lot of stairs.

Such a unique and exceptional experience, Anna and Jahn were the perfect hosts and really made our stay in Recco so special. We especially loved the dinner they invited us to at their backyard which was 40euros a head with 3 courses and unlimited wine... beautiful traditional food and such a lovely experience on the balcony under the stars. Really was a stand out meal for us :)

The walk from the station/town to their place is 15 mins in maps but involves about 300 steps! We did it a few times and got used to it but you need to be fit/able if you don't have access to a car. The view at the top was worth it though :)
