We stayed at Da o Vittorio in Recco as we wanted to visit Genoa but were reluctant to take a UK car there. Recco was a pleasant surprise. Vittorio had a good restaurant and we ate there on 2 nights. Bed was comfy with good air con. Shower was clean and efficient. Breakfast great with good coffee.Parking was off road but not particularly secure. 15 min walk to the rail station to Genoa. Lots of steps to the station, those with limited mobility be aware.

Room was on the small side but that did not matter as we were out and about.

Spacious room and bathroom. Comfortable bed, coffee machine in the room. Standard Italian breakfast.

The whole atmosphere looks outdated and rather gloomy. In the bathroom, in the shower, the door does not close well, because of this the water flows out. Also, inside the shower there is not a single place where you can put the necessary accessories, only on the floor. This is very inconvenient. In the room, when the general lighting is turned on, there is a constant unpleasant sound, and the local lighting only works on one side of the bed. Both windows of the room face the street, so it is quite noisy even with the windows closed. The entrance to the hotel is directly from the street, between two pedestrian crossings. To get there, you have to walk straight along the roadway with quite active traffic. This is simply dangerous.

We loved the history on the walls (literally - WWII history --> present day of the family owning the establishment). Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth, and inviting. We slept great - beds were comfy, and best part - the pillows were not too thick!! The air conditioner in the room kept it a perfect temp at night, and we could turn it off during the day to save energy. The staff did basic housekeeping daily to make beds and provide fresh towels (I would have been just as happy if these services had not been done in order to save laundry, etc. however they were a welcome touch.) The breakfast was just perfect - great options - so thankful for the hard boiled eggs and some fruit for the non-pastry, low-carb crowd. The cappuccinos were perfect and my partner was a huge fan of the pastry and granola/yoghurt selection. We are considering our next time in the region, and highly considering choosing Recco as our home base again! Additionally - we would recommend the restaurant in the first floor of the restaurant - also owned by the same family - seriously - the best calamari dinner I've every had...and their focaccia de Recco is no laughing matter either!! We were thankful that we could make a reservation for our 2nd evening after a very long hike on the peninsula.

The room and bathroom were rather small, but that was not of consequence for my partner and I as we were primarily in Recco to explore and only used the room as home base. The room was just fine! The two tiny complaints I have would be 1) the vent above the shower in our room was super dusty and noticeable, and 2) there was no soap holder in the shower. Other than these two tiny things - our stay was perfect!

I stayed in the Annex and the room was very large, clean, and had a balcony with a view of the hills. It was a last minute reservation and reception was able to accommodate me. The breakfast had gluten-free options. It is about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Recommend the restaurant for dinner and recommend reserving in advance!

I had not realised when I booked that it is a hotel with a long family-run history, and it has a renowned restaurant. The hotel is well-situated, comfortable, has good WiFi, and secure parking. And of course the food is excellent!

Nothing to dislike, in my opinion.

We used to live in Recco, so we already knew this excellent establishment. The staff are excellent, the room was very comfortable, the bathroom too.

Nothing could have been better.

The welcome was so warm and the place is like a history lesson. The room is clean and comfy but a little tired but nothing that stops you enjoying it. The restaurant is amazing with incredible staff and so close to the motorway.

Fantastic place, very clean and comfortable! Highly recommend! It was taken by chance, we didn’t plan to stop in Recco, but now I want to return!!! And definitely to this hotel.

No wine glasses in the room

The hotel was very clean. The working staff were also nice, very helpful, always smiling, ready to help. And they have free parking. Breakfast was tasty.
