A good hotel as a base to see Cinque Terre & Portofino . Room was good with a good view of the Rapallo bay. Excellent breakfast especially when able to eat on the terrace . Melany particularly helpful on reception along with the other welcoming staff. Parking useful albeit slightly pricey when were were there for 6 days. Short walk to the centre only if you go through the park (but this closes at 8PM) but easy to get taxis (12 euros) Snack menu was good to have on terrace

Room was good but lacking on electric points plus hanging space is too high for someone under 6ft .

I loved everything about the hotel, it was modern, nice, the room was very comfortable and had a nice view, and the staff were exceptionally lovely. They knew I was celebrating my anniversary and left me flowers and wine in my room :)

Think it would be nice if you could arrange a pick up / drop off at the train station, for what a room costs per night. It was doable to walk our bags, but it was uncomfortable in the heat, especially going uphill.

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Canali. The room, balcony & sea view were perfect. Comfortable bed & great shower. A short walk to the main centre & a lovely walk to & from, either via the park or road. The scent in the air, orange, grapefruit, lemon trees, gorgeous. Sitting out on the terrace, with a drink from the bar, after arriving back from a long day was very relaxing. Hotel reception very friendly & helpful. A delicious pizza via room service & a very helpful Francesca. The breakfast was very good quality & lots of choice. A characterful building, the hotel is spotlessly clean & the decor & furnishings are gorgeous. Look forward to visiting again.

The staff were exceptional, helpful and friendly, especially Melany who did everything to make our stay pleasant in every way. A warm and wonderful welcome on arrival and lots of helpful local information. Felt like a friendly family home. Beautiful room in a pretty building with lovely large balcony overlooking some very pretty houses and a distant view of the sea. Wonderful breakfast out on the pretty veranda watching the herons. Marvellous hot tub in the peaceful garden with drinks served to us there. Separate cool lounge to relax in and Turkish sauna also available. Short walk through the park into the lovely town full of restaurants and the railway station and ferry to Portofino. A relaxed and magical experience all round. Thank you. .

Really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel perched up on the hill in a very quiet area steps away from a beautiful city park and only a short walk to Rapallo town and the promenade by the sea. The building itself is just so beautiful and it has so much character to it; it really felt like living in an Italian villa at the turn of the 20th century! Amazing atmosphere overall, super attentive staff, remodeled with taste and very clean

The reception staff were all lovely, always willing to help answer questions and provide recommendations. On arrival we were given a wonderful surprise with an unexpected sea view room which set the tone for our stay! Breakfast was delicious and wide range of options to cater for all. The hotel is close to Rapallo centre and train station, and just across the road from a beautiful park. All in all a wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel, delicious breakfast (although I didn’t like the coffee , I tried to do different but the taste was not really nice). Friendly stuff. Nice beds, and a clean hotel. And we arrived at 1:30 and our room was ready, so was nice to check in earlier (normally is at 15:00)

Parking is not free (15€ per night), but mentioned that it’s free in booking. There is no complimentary water bottles in the room as for 4 ⭐️ hotel … hmm I complained on the lobby during check check out and a friend lady said she understands and didn’t charge me for 2 still bottles of water.

Construction work is underway all around. The building conveys mixed feelings. On the one hand, the room is a good size, but on the other, the decor is awful. It shows many signs of wear and tear. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Breakfast has little variety but is satisfying. The price of the park is greatly inflated. There was no toilet paper every morning.

I liked the location, it is quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the center. The room we stayed in had two beautiful balconies, and the hotel is historical, beautiful in color and appearance, and the hospitality is beautiful.

Everything in the hotel was welcoming but in the city it would be great if you have a car to have a drive through it if the stay was few days
