Carla and Giovanni are one of a kind hosts. Warm, caring, open, and friendly, they truly go above and beyond to make you feel at home and have an exceptional stay. They provided several excellent restaurant recommendations and we shared some lovely chats. The house is very tastefully designed (by Giovanni himself, an architect!) with beautiful views over the hills and sea. The garden is a wonderful place to eat and relax. The house is set back in the mountains, but close to many towns, beaches and restaurants (one even within walking distance). The breakfast is abundant and tasty, offering sweet and savory options. The price/quality ratio was excellent.

My only (minor) comment would be that there was no shelf in the shower so nowhere to place your soap, shampoo, etc.

You have an amazing view from the terrace and the house itself is very modern and fresh renovated. The hosts are doing an fantastic job offering breakfast and offer you help for any question.

If your car is a bigger one it’s nearly impossible to get there. The streets are really tight and curved, also you cannot park directly in front of the apartment but on a “parking space” where you really need driving skills to park your car. When you have arrived you need to climb another 150 meters to get to the location and the way is really steep. Also Sori (the closest village) is not really nice.

Its location allows for a very good relaxing time. Giovanni and Carla are completely available to make your stay as cozy and convenient as possible. The breakfasts are very good, but not as incredible as we’ve experienced in another BnB in Liguria. The view in the morning is quite enjoyable. We’d definitely go back in the future!

It still is far from the village of Sori and it absolutely requires a vehicle to go back to your bedroom after a day at the beach. That being said, either you come with your car/motorcycle and it’s not a problem, or they can rent you e-Bikes which make the way back home a peaceful and easy ride (about 5-10 minutes). Bring a headlamp with you if you go back at night. Highway can be heard but not with closed windows.

I’m very lucky to find so peaceful, comfortable place. Carla and Giovanni invested so much love and energy in their lovely place, I did not expect I will feel so peaceful and so comfortable there. The house is very modern, clean and in nature. Definitely, the best thing about our stay was the breakfast and the hosts. They gave us excellent tips and were super kind. Highly recommend.

Il Giardino di Fe is a lovely B&B tucked in the hills of Liguria. It is modern, confortable and offers an incredible view of the sea . It is strategically placed , keeping you away from the crowds should you be going in Liguria in peak season. It is sorrounded by green with cozy outdoor space. The breakfast is incredibly abundant and delicious. Carla and Giovanni are amazing hosts and admittedly they complement the beauty of the place.

Unfortunately the highway sits at the bottom of the valley, so you can see it.

This is a fantastic place to stay. The hosts, Carla and her husband are very welcoming and charming. The house is located in the mountains in the backland of Sori but only ten minutes by car from the town (Sori) and all the beaches. It is an amazing place to hike around but also e-bikes are available at the house to rent. There is a superb sea and mountain view from the rooms and the garden! Carla prepares an amazing breakfast (with a delicious carrot cake as part of many other options) to start the journey. I strongly recommend this accommodation!! We will come back for sure.
