Was good location. Hotel is one of the few modern properties in Camogli, so if you don’t want to stay in grandma’s apartment - this hotel is a good solution. Bed was very comfortable. Check in, help with luggage and parking and most of the services correspond to 5 star. They have their own parking, which is rare in Camogli (but extra 50 eur per day). Breakfast was good.

In a five star hotel room cleaning was not made untill 5 pm. We come back from the beach and no toilet paper, no towels, no cleaning. Absolutely no facilities for drying your clothes from the beach! Hotel is located in a resort area, would be good to think it out. Also in a spacious bathroom absolutely no hooks for towels, even no brush for toilet. Telephone in the room also was not working. When I said reception about these drawbacks, was no reaction, just ok. Walls in the room and in public places damaged in many places. In general more close to 4 stars

Feels like a new hotel, modern and clean with nice staff. Rooms are good size, good service. It is close to the sea and 2 mins walk from the sea promenade, however it is at the end of a parking lot facing it one side, and a big wall on the back ...

Location is comfortable but doesnt have great views. There is a gym but with 3 piece of machineries .. back rooms face a wall. I think is a very good hotel to visit Camogli, central and easy to reach - but doesn't have many amenities if you want just to stay there

Great location, with a lovely bedroom, close to the city center and many excellent restaurants. We especially loved Del Luca Pizzeria, which was right across the street! Breakfast was delicious, though it could have offered more bread options and been restocked more frequently when items ran out.

The hotel emphasizes its rooftop jacuzzi a lot, but it's rarely available for use. It had rained in the morning, but by the afternoon, the weather had cleared up, with just a few clouds—perfect conditions to use the rooftop. However, it remained closed, leading us to think that they only open it on sunny days. On sunny days, you'd just go to the beach, so the jacuzzi isn't as necessary. When we inquired about the rooftop, they simply suggested we take a stroll around the city. The bedroom is really nice and comfortable, but the bathroom isn't in the best condition for a 5-star hotel; the shower, in particular, needs remodeling.

Excellent hotel located an easy walk to beach, shops and station. Well maintained with helpful staff some of whom speak adequate English. Good air conditioning and wifi. Basement parking is available in a town where public parking can be difficult. The price at 50 Euros per day is expensive, but it does remove the stress and time of finding parks elsewhere in the town. Public parking is about 25 Euros per day when available.

Hotel is centrally located Modern and very well maintained with good size rooms a lovely roof terrace. If you have an electric car there is a charger outside the hotel. The staff were excellent friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. We had booked four rooms and everyone really enjoyed their time. Camogli centre is only a short walk as is the beach so lots of great restaurants and bars.

Great hotel, lovely rooftop bar/sun bathing area. Staff very helpful and really close to the train station and to the restaurants and shops. We had a room with a terrace and hot tub which was lovely.

Nothing to not like, only downside was that I think we weee there just slightly early in the season, as the bar wasn’t attended very often, we had to ask if we could be served. Also the breakfast buffet which was very nice but not topped up quickly.

The whole experience of visiting the hotel was memorable from the welcoming glass of Prosecco when booking in to the quality & cleanliness of the room through to the spa facilities Special mention should be made to the evening meal not only in terms of the range, presentation of the food but the attentiveness of the maitre de & having the opportunity to thank the chef for his first class cuisine The range & presentation of food continued at breakfast as did the attentiveness of the staff We particularly enjoyed our late lunch in the rooftop sailors bar & our hot tub view of the area All in all an excellent 2-days & more than happy to recommend a visit. Thanks to all at the Carrick Hotel 👍

Very pretty property The coffee was excellent The elevators were actually decent size for italy!

The noise in the room!! Pipes banging in the walls continually throughout the night. The ac made a lot of noises as well. The bed was comfortable but only a sheet and one thin blanket in the room. The shower needed to be cleaned and regrouted Breakfast was not good. Everything looked like it was sitting a long time. The milk was warm for cereal. Nothing was restocked once it was gone.

The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was nice. The hotel was well located and a short walk to everything we needed. A beautiful mountain trail was close by. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Decent air conditioning. The spa was very nice.

The work out facility was located in a room with no HVAC. The equipment was limited and there were no wipes or towels to clean it. The grout in our room shower floor needed some repair. Some common area carpets looked worn.

The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay, plus a good breakfast. Of course, it’s not a five-star hotel, but it’s a good one. What stood out the most was the excellent staff — always polite, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. We will remember this hotel because of these people.

It’s time for the owners to consider renovating the hotel — a five-star rating needs to be justified and maintained.
