We had the pleasure of staying 4 nights at Cenobio Dei Dogi and could not have been more pleased with the accommodations. The ocean front location has the most incredible views of all Camogli. The hotel has a beautiful heated pool and its own private beach with loungers and bar service. The included breakfast was bountiful and offered a wonderful selection. We dined in the restaurant and were thankful for the suggestions made by the waiter. The service is the standout though, the staff is kind, respectful and incredibly attentive, we felt spoiled. Our room was a standard ocean front and had everything we needed. We revelled at the sunsets over Camogli each night. We will definitely return!

While the hotel is older and could use a bit of updating, she is grand lady and should be appreciated as such.

The entire hotel is absolutely perfect for a seaside getaway. It offers direct access to a private beach, complete with plenty of loungers and umbrellas for a truly relaxing experience. The swimming pool is spacious and ideal for a refreshing dip or those who don't like the waves on the sea. The breakfast was exceptional, with a generous and delicious selection each morning. We also had a beautiful dinner at the hotel restaurant during sunset — the view was stunning and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. I also enjoyed a wonderful massage at the spa — such a treat. Totally worth every penny spent and I’m already looking forward to returning. 10/10!

Luxury hotel with incredible sea views. Location was perfect on the edge of the village promenade with several bars and restaurants nearby.

We had no advice,even on the hotel website, that there is a lift, directly opposite the station, which comes out opposite the hotel grounds. As we have difficulty with steps we were waiting for a taxi for 15 minutes until we spotted people coming out of the lift.

The hotel has the most perfect view of the bay - what a nice way to have breakfast with views of the ocean and the city. Beds were comfortable and not at all soft, the room was cleaned twice a day. Even the toiletries had Cenobio branding. The staff at the Restaurant are uncommonly attentive, the waiter remembered our coffee choices the next day and gave us the same table. Breakfast is really good, freshly baked and local products, fruit, focaccie, good espresso - the best we have had in an Italian hotel. Pool is spacious, lots of sun chairs in a lovely garden. Late check-out time.

Restaurant was good, just know that it opens at 20:00.

this hotel was gorgeous! very 5 star style. we truly enjoyed it as well as the location. so easy to walk all around town and surrounded by restaurants and shops. The breakfast made us want to get up in the morning. ( vast selection). the only negative was dinner at the hotel restaurant. terrible service and ok food! the views made up for it. otherwise all fantastic

The pool was a spacious and had an amazing view. I loved the restaurant seating and breakfast views were on point. The food quality was splendid everything from drinks to food, high quality ingredients and excellent customer service. We loved our stay and will definitely be going back perhaps we will try to take our chances with the crowds and visit in summer to enjoy the private beach. It was a very beautiful stay.

The only real downside to our stay was that the private beach was closed it's only open in season. I wish it would have been open to people with warning of "No life guard" if that is the reason they can't open it for all. I was happy the pool was open. I gave comfort a lower rank because as many hotels off the coast there was no real Queen size bed and no AC we visited in April and the season to turn on AC is in summer only.

It's a beautiful old hotel in a wonderful location on the waterfront, close to restaurants and the train station and with spectacular views. My room was spacious and light with big windows overlooking the pool. It was quiet and the service was good. The breakfast was excellent and I enjoyed my lunch at the restaurant.

I would've liked it if it had been a a little less austere decor-wise (all white and bare walls), but that's a minor complaint.

Location is fantastic. The sea view is second to none. Staff was very helpful. Had dinner at the restaurant and it was superb. The service was the right combination of attentiveness and efficiency, but not too much into your face. Also, I have asked for a room with a balcony and the hotel accommodated this request, which was a lovely surprise.

Breakfast could be a bit more varied with a bit more of fruit variety.

Loved our balcony with a view of the sea. Loved the honey at the breakfast bar. Loved the view at the pool and the lifeguard was very kind. The baggage valet was also very kind.

I wish the attendants from the bar would’ve come around to inquire if we’d like to order anything. And it would be great if the showers were larger. However, everything else about the shower was great!

It’s a beautifully maintained property from the exterior grounds to the classy interior. It’s extremely clean. The hotel location is picturesque, quiet, with amazing views and is easy to walk to restaurants, shops, beaches and the marina. We appreciated convenient Valet parking. Wonderful swimming pool and lounge area with attentive Staff. All hotel Staff, especially the Front Desk, were friendly, helpful and caring. Nice amenities in the guests’ bath room (shampoo, etc.) Comfortable beds and guest rooms. Good on-site food options and lovely complimentary breakfast.

The option to have wash cloths would be nice.
