Everything! Hotel operations were very smooth even with low levels of staffing, because the staff were all not only very professional but friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was well thought out, perfect for our family of 3 but also reasonable for a family of 4 to stay in. Breakfast was very decent, the beach restaurant and hotel restaurant were also very good. Our room was perfectly clean every day (and I am picky).

We would have liked more storage space in the bathroom itself, as well as in the dressing room some more shelves. The public areas would need refreshing and modernisation, but are well maintained and clean, so this is not a problem in itself.

Great location and view across bay. Hotel has great architectural features and staff friendly and helpful. Swimming pool, sun beds and jacuzzi on the roof was lovely. Tunnel to the beach and beach cafe under the road in front of the hotel made for easy access 25 euros for all day with a break and return if you so wanted, would recommend swimming shoes to enter the sea or use the jetty with steps down into the sea further out. Breakfast had many choices and if not included with your booking was 10 euros per day.

There was nothing I didn’t like and would use again.

i promissed to angelica from front desk i will wright about this stupidity of management , i travel alone , so they accepted this situation, i have single room but if i want to go hotel spiaggia i must payed two sun bed , it is a stupidity and the beach is empty ...... try understaining because i didnt..... marius

Superb location and wonderful beach right next to the hotel. Can easily take the train or ferry to visit different places. Very clean rooms and very attentive, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices and the best homemade apple cake ever!

We have stayed here many times and always return, we have a nice room with sea view and balcony, the breakfast is very nice, it’s a bit out of town and we enjoy the walk back to hotel after dinner in the town which has many nice restaurants. The staff are very helpful & friendly.

The extraordinary on this hotel is the combination of where it is situated, offering parking, having its own beach, good breakfast, clean room and you can walk per pedes in less than one hour to the tiny Portofino. Other Hotels in Portofino ( I know this is only in the near of Portofino) are much more expensive, no parking, no beach and so on. Super friendly stuff working there.

The hotel is in a very good location, a 10-minute walk to the centre of Santa Margherita, which filters out most of the confusion. Ideally palced for the visit to Portofino (the bus stops in both to/from directions are right in front of the hotel). The facilities offered are what can be expected from a 4-star hotel, with comfortable rooms and a good breakfast (although there was a coffee-making machine and not a "proper" barista). The staff was very welcoming and helpful (they added the breakfast at a competitive rate), either at the hotel and the parking (a huge bonus for Santa Margherita, although moderately pricey at EUR 20 per day). Another bonus for the check-out deadline at noon and the extended breakfast time untile 10.30.

We found the bed a bit too stiff, but this largely depends on personal habits.

just the weather was not helping to swim hahaha and this point we couldn't control, sometimes Sunny then in 30 min change to rain, I think this year the summer season of 2025 is a bit different.

We had a room on the top floor and it was just beautiful. The view was wonderful and the little terrace was divine. The breakfast was delicious and sumptuous. The staff were very nice and helpful. Dinner at the restaurant was divine. The beach is lovely and away from the crowds at the other end of Santa Margherita

The pool wasn't that welcoming to us so we spent our time at the beach. Another pontoon in the water would be great, it was very popular.
