The hotel and the service from the staff were excellent in every way. The unexpected bonus was that over and above the excellent breakfast it provides for its guests every morning, they also prepare an excellent lunch if you so desire. It's not included in the rate, but I will tell you that in the two weeks we spent in Italy, our lunch at Hotel Blu di Te was the best meal we had. We enjoyed an outstanding sea bream prepared as beautifully as in the most esteemed restaurant.

This is now one of my favourite hotels. The staff are the best I have ever encountered, so friendly, always willing to help and offer great dining recommendations for both Santa and Portofino. The attention to detail and personal touch is phenomenal. Cocktails and food were expertly prepared and tasted so good The bar, restaurant and lobby are perfectly decorated, stylish and comfy. The bar serves amazing cocktails and wine, the breakfast is delicious and the pool side lunch with Prosecco was perfect (definitely worth the 100 euro for a day bed with lunch included)! Love it all. We are already planning our next stay. 10/10

Couldn't fault a thing

I absolutely loved this hotel! So beautiful, feels like you are staying in a luxury Italian home. Very cozy and stylish vibes, loved the interior and the staff were so friendly and instantly made you feel comfortable and at home. Very nice level of service, both on check-in, check-out and at breakfast. They also gave me great advice about local attractions etc. The breakfast was superb, very yummy selection of continental food items and the staff were super attentive. I loved the location of the hotel too, very quiet and backs on to gardens and an absolutely stunning church. I also liked the nice touches that made it feel a bit more luxury, such as the Davines branded toiletries - my fave!

The only thing I would say is that my room was very small, it was a single room though and perfectly equipped for what I needed but both my bedroom and bathroom were very small for the cost. The bathroom particularly was quite tiny.

The staff at the hotel were exceptional. I wish I could name all the people who helped or served us. Enzo, Paula, Julia and the young bar man. We felt so cared for and made to feel very special, the staff really couldn’t do enough for you, nothing was a problem and the hospitality they gave was exceptional. What is so great about this hotel is the staff will get to you know you, the barman suggested a rum we would like and was very accommodating. We would love to come back and would highly recommend. The breakfast was also great! The decor of the hotel is also beautiful.

Lovely staff, very helpful and welcoming. I heard staff speak Italian, English and French with ease; very helpful. The aperitifs and food were delicious along with a lovely breakfast. Nice setting and super location to walk into Santa. Lovely terrace upstairs with a small pool to cool down.

It would have been even better if the double loungers by the pool could be used free of charge. Having a staffed bar on the terrace can be helpful to have a few drinks by the pool or on the terrace upstairs. The room was for a single person, and it was totally functional and good; it would have been even better if it was a little bigger.

Very helpful staff, suggesting nice walks and restaurants in the area. Our bag was lost by the airline and the gentleman at reception kindly phoned up on our behalf - without being asked - to find out where it was and when it would be delivered. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice and a lovely outdoor seating area in the sunshine. Hotel is in a good location, close to all amenities but away from the main road. Would recommend!

Thr hotel was very stylish, and although the rooms were on the small side, the storage was good. The shared facilities of the pool area and lounge/ breakfast were excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bed was very comfortable 5oo and the products in the shower were very luxurious!

The rooms were slightly small, and they make you pay to use the large day beds - which when there were no other customers using we felt a bit unreasonable.

- It is more a feedback than a negative point: no need to put 3 types of shampoo and conditioner in the shower. We would have preferred to have some body lotion instead. - Before arriving at the hotel, I read a lot of good reviews regarding the breakfast but I was a bit disappointed. The selection was nice but when it came to the savoury dish and in particular eggs, only boiled eggs were offered. Also the eggs were not from the best quality (type 2 = not bio or range free). For this price, I would expect only top products!

Boutique hotel with the most impeccable service and attention to guests. High quality mattress and blanket. Responsive reception staff exceeded expectations. They helped me rent a boat as quickly as possible, so that after 30 minutes I was sailing to Portofino. Individual, friendly approach with maximum care and attention to guests. Thanks to Alessandro at the bar for attending to my thirst.

Lovely boutique hotel with gorgeous helpful and friendly staff and wonderful lounge bar and breakfast area. Buffet breakfast was amazing!!

The rooms were very small and pool shallow, lounges around the pool extremely expensive to rent. The staff were truly wonderful which compensated for the negatives described and location was perfect!!
