We stayed for 4 Nights during September and had a great time. The room had all the facilities you would need for a stay and was quite spacious with a small patio with a table and chairs. Breakfast was continental style with usual cheese, meets etc. All of good quality. The location is excellent for trips, station, boats and bus. A 5 minute walk to the centre where there are lots of good restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay. ☺️ Matteo and Theresa were super nice and incredibly helpful (I asked for a room charge because the curtains didn’t close and Matteo was super accommodating and very kind.). Property is simple (perfect 3 star hotel) but super clean! Breakfast was wonderful with variety of pastries and delicious fresh local fruit (something we do not find in most hotels these days). Great location as you can walk to the station and beach in 5 minutes. The rooms in the main building have shutters so we had complete darkness and slept really well!

The curtains in room Avorio (one of the 4 rooms in the annex) need replacing as they don’t shut completely. Fortunately, we changed to room Bordeaux (in the main building) which has shutters so problem was solved!

Matthew was on reception every day until 8pm, helpful, friendly and accommodating. We had 2 rooms, friends traveling together and we loved the hotel. The location, the breakfast each morning was brilliant. loved loved loved the place and will come back.

The location was fantastic and the staff very friendly. I was late checking in due to traffic and could not notify them. However, they had sent me detailed instructions for self-check in. I truly appreciated it and made my life much easier. The hotel was very clean. The lady in charge of breakfast was lovely, too.

We stayed in one of the rooms by the garden. It was a bit noisy especially in the morning when traffic was building up.

Hotel staff very nice and responsive. Good location, easy to go and catch a ferry or bus to Portofino. Parking in the street around 30€ a day, which is normal for this area in Italy. They keep a place for their guests, and you can leave it there until some car goes. Train station only a couple of minutes away, which makes it good for a base to cinque terre as well.

The room was better than expected, very convenient location. The staff were friendly and very polite. The breakfast was also very good , they offered a great variety of food and drinks. This room is absolutely value for money!

Santa Margherita was very commercialized. Restaurants had no appreciation of or interest in our custom. Also do not visit Portofino. They are only interested in millionaires and celebrities. Food was very, very expensive and poor quality..Ferry back to Santa Margharita is not worth the money. Overall I found the fast majority of Italians in this region rude and arrogant.

Breakfast was simple but excellent and the staff was welcoming and kind. The location is perfect, only a short walk from the train station and beach is 2 minutes away. Such a lovely place for a calm and relaxing holiday.

Amazing location and the staff were absolutely lovely. Breakfast was a great addition to the booking that set us up for the day.

The only issue we had were the slightly tough mattresses and thin profile pillows.
