I can’t thank Hotel Minerva enough for such a wonderful stay. From the moment I arrived, I felt so well taken care of. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, keeping my room spotless and comfortable. A very special thank you to the front desk team – Jade, Andreas, and Federica – for their truly outstanding service. They were always so kind, welcoming, and patient, and their help with local area tips, transport, and recommendations made my trip so much easier and more enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious, and I especially loved the fresh salads and bruschetta. The rooftop is also such a gem – a beautiful space to relax and take in the views. I’m so grateful to the whole team at Hotel Minerva for going above and beyond in every way. This hotel really feels like a home away from home, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Margherita Ligure. A must-visit place!

The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. We could ask them any question, and they would help us plan anything we wanted. We received good advice and recommendations. The hotel is located in a quiet street, and a 10/15min walk to the city centre. And yes you have to ask a card to go swim in the pool, but that’s no problem. We went swimming almost every day, at different hours, and we always had room without previous reservation.

If I would have to say something it would be that we had a room with a short bed and a narrow bathroom. My 1,90m boyfriend didn’t fit in the bed when he laid down.

A beautiful boutique hotel with a warm, attentive staff who truly made me feel very comfortable. Delicious breakfast, a wide variety of healthy choices(eggs,italian cheese, fruits, vegetables, seeds, different types of honey and jams), tea and coffee served in elegant and fine cups, in a dreamy garden setting. It was the perfect way to start the day. The rooftop terrace with a panoramic stunning view was also a highlight of my staying there. Perfect location of the hotel, close to the center, and in a quiet area. I would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone seeking good taste and a serene place to stay.

We had an exceptional stay at this beautiful B&B. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and warm—always ready to assist with anything we needed. Since we visited during the off-season, we were generously upgraded to a larger room, which was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was a highlight: delicious, comforting, and served in a charming garden area—such a peaceful way to start the day. The quaint rooftop features a small gym, a mini pool, and a steam sauna, all overlooking the stunning Santa Margherita Bay. The property also includes garage parking, and the staff took care of parking and retrieving the car for us, which was so convenient. The location is perfect, within easy walking distance to all the popular restaurants. Highly recommend!

The LOCATION is near enough the city center but far enough so you don't hear the busy roads. The hotel sits in a little corner and had an amazing patio. The STAFF is amazingly friends. Jade, Federica and all others are helpful, polite and friendly. They will go over the top to help you in all you need. The ROOM is comfortable, has a nice view (stayed in 204) and very clean. The toiletries are super nice. Great BREAKFAST. . The POOL is the cherry on the cake. Amazing view, has a little gym for yoga, two saunas. I don't know why they say this is a three star. They should be 5 stars.

I just wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at ALBERGO Minerva in Santa Margherita Ligure. I had a fantastic time! The hotel apartments were amazing, and I absolutely loved the great service provided by the attentive staff. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect during my stay. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, making me feel right at home. And let me tell you, the breakfast was super! It was the perfect way to start each day of my vacation. Overall, I had a great time and would highly recommend ALBERGO Minerva to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway.

The hotel is in a perfect position tucked away up a quiet street but only a 5 minute walk to the port. There is a small supermarket and pharmacy nearby. The hotel staff are so very helpful and informative. Nothing was too much trouble. Our bedroom had a small balcony overlooking the bay and the Tuscan hillside and we were on Level 4 which is where the rooftop terrace is available to use. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very well appointed. Good shower. The Jacuzzi and sun terrace are amazing. You need to book a slot at reception as only a limited number of people can use at any one time which is understandable. We stayed here 5 nights. Breakfast was excellent every day with plenty of choice and the option to sit outside in the garden.

I wish we could have stayed a lot longer! Such a lovely little hotel slightly set back form the marina front so very quiet but just a few minutes walk to get to the town centre. And such a lovely host and staff. Very welcoming, very friendly and helpful. The rooftop area with views over the sea and bay were stunning. I loved the little garden too, very pretty and welcoming. Our room and little balcony were perfect and kept incredibly clean.

I booked this hotel at the last minute when I decided to extend my holiday by two nights, and I chose it as it was the best value for money, however I was perfectly happy with it. I was really just using it as a base, so I didn't use the facilities much/at all. My room was great, a really nice size, traditionally decorated (slightly dated) and super clean, good size bathroom and the room came with a safe and a fridge which was useful. It was also very quiet and felt very safe, which is important for a solo traveler. The bed and pillows were very comfy, I slept really well there. The staff at the hotel were really friendly and welcoming and they went out of their way to help me on my check-out when I had to get to the train station for 5am and they personally drove me as I had left it too late to book a taxi, which I really appreciated! Very kind of them.

The hotel itself is set back from the main street so you have to turn off and walk up a slight hill to it and at night it was very quiet and dark-ish walking up there which as a woman on my own, wasn't my favourite, although I am sure it is totally safe! The decor of the hotel I found pretty dated, it could do with a refresh, although I didn't mind some of it in my room as it was quite traditional Italian, but the more common spaces looked very dated. The hairdryer in my room wasn't great and provided not much heat or power and the shower cubicle was extremely small. There was also no air conditioning. Having said all this though, if you want a great basic hotel with amazing staff is it perfect for you. I still had a very comfortable stay and I would definitely stay there again!

Breakfast was lovely and the citrus terrace so beautiful. The rooms were very nice and the AC worked great. We thought it was such a cute lovely hotel and a good value for the money. The location is really good - a bit back from the water but anything closer to the water was quite a bit more so I really was pleased with this hotel and will stay there again if we go back to Santa Margharita. You can easily walk to Portofino from this hotel too.
