Rural setting. Good food. Swimming pools. Very obliging staff. We like Palaia, the local town — and enjoy the c25 minute walk from Borgo Colleoli. We also like I Tigli, the family run restaurant nearby.

Cleaning delayed by 2 days. We arrived on Monday. We were told it would be cleaned on Thursday but it wasn’t cleaned until Saturday. (Only one clean included in price over 8 day vacation.) Studio needs more storage / drawer space and needs a mirror in the main room. Poor sound insulation— noise from family immediately next door was intrusive at times.

The resort itself is incredibly beautiful, the buildings and setting are stunning. The 2 different pools are great and our kids really enjoyed playing in the kids pool. We enjoyed all our meals at the restaurant, and the breakfast was very good. Service was also very pleasant.

Because of its rural location there are not any other options for meals, meaning that the restaurant was very busy at dinner. We didn't know if we would get a table at all, which was a concern as we had 2 young children with us. We ended up waiting quite some time to be seated. If I had known this in advance I would have booked. Our room was basic and a bit tired looking, it didn't live up to the beautiful surroundings it was in.

Very peaceful setting in the middle of Tuscany. Two wonderful pools, the restaurant was great and the prices were very reasonable.

Our room number 67 which was on the first floor of one of the buildings towards the rear of the property has windows which were covered by bricks with only partial views out. I assume this is because it was a barn conversion and the needed to keep the exterior architecture intact. This made it quite dark in the room.

Very nice appartments in a old castle buildings. We were 2 families in 2 appartments. One was recently renovated and had a very nice bathroom and modern kitchen. The other one was slightly more rustique and worn out. The location is a bit far from the main roads but very nice and calm on the hill. The pools are very nice, but it was a bit too fresh in April. The restaurant is a bit pricy, but very nice.

We were fortunate enough to have a 2 bed apartment each with its own bathroom. Perfect with two teens! The best part was the amazing private terrace, with the most stunning views of the Tuscan countryside.

The restaurant had a limited menu and was a little slow, but we still enjoyed our evening meals there.

Very beautiful place in pisteresque landscape. Surrounding is stunning. 2 very clean and beautiful swimming pools. Our room was clean and very good size. Everything clean and staff friendly. Restaurant on the hotel was much better then the restaurant across the street ( do not order meat there). Value for money 😉

Strange to have to pay service fee on the restaurant. A little problem with toilet flushing🙃 . Little noisy from the cotrridor. Would Come back any day 🥰

It’s a stunning setting and we loved the authenticity of the ancient buildings, the elegance of the interiors, the kindness of the staff and the relaxed atmosphere.

We only have a couple of minor critiques, which are to add a couple of towel hooks to the bathrooms. Also, to advise people that pool towels are at an additional cost.

We loved our stay at the Resort! Amazing time we had, we enjoyed it from the very beginning as the staff was super friendly and helpful, they drove us with the golf cart to collect luggage and bring it to the apartment. Moreover, helped us and indicated useful tips while travelling to Firenze. We could also bring our dog (with a fee of 9 € per night). We highly recommend the resort to explore Tuscany

Prices in the restaurant inside are a bit high, we recommend going to the restaurant outside, I Tigli, run by a local family and with amazing dishes.

They promised to send me the invoice for stay but this never happened.

Staying in the resort was the best decision I’ve made… the place is amazing 🤩 the room was so big and specious and it had everything we needed. The views from the property is to die for… the swimming pools were warm and clean… the staff was amazing… if I had any questions they would solve it straight away… I can’t wait to come back!!!
