I’ve just spent 2 nights at Villa Neptunus as a solo traveller and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. To begin with, the location couldn’t be better, just a few minutes walk from the bus stop and close to Pelara Bay and Sorgeto. The villa itself is definitely worth a mention, with its breathtaking view over the hill and the sea. The restaurant was another highlight, with its offer of beautifully presented sea food dishes and the quality of the food which exceeded my expectations. The staff truly went above and beyond, they were extremely friendly, professional and always eager to help. An added bonus was meeting regular guests I had the pleasure of befriending, who contributed to create an unique atmosphere and made an already excellent stay even more memorable.

The manager was exceptional. He went above and beyond. We are in our 60s and avid walkers; so loved that we could walk to the natural hot springs, and to Sant Angelo. We also liked walking into Panza every night for dinner. I do regret not climbing Mt Empomeo, but that was only because we decided to spend one day lazing by the lovely pool. I liked that we had a fridge. We also spent 6 nights in Sorrento, and two nights in Porto Ischia.....but Panza was by far our favourite place. Villa Neptunus was like being on the set of Mamma Mia - there was a bit of a Greek vibe going on. The views were magnificent. I loved the kitties.

nothing to do with this hotel, but our ferry from Sorrento was cancelled. Therefore we had to take a taxi from Sorrento to Naples to get the Ischia ferry. The taxi driver charged us so much that we needed to get to a bank as soon as we arrived in Sorrento. The signs to the villa should be more visible.

I recently stayed at Hotel Neptunus in Ischia, which offers a breathtaking 360-degree view, allowing you to enjoy both sunrise and sunset in a truly spectacular setting. The location is beautifully decorated in the charming colors typical of the coastal style, with every detail thoughtfully curated. I initially booked the hotel as a base to explore Ischia for the first time. However, once I arrived, I found that I had no desire to leave it. The landscape, from the sea view to the green of the surrounding nature, made it a perfect place to relax and unwind. Another reason not to leave the hotel is Chef Michele, who will let you taste all the traditional local dishes with a gourmet touch. I traveled by myself, but the staff, and in particular Mr. Fernando, made me feel very comfortable. He went out of his way to help me plan my stay, ensuring that I could make the most of my 3 days and see as much as possible. I used public transport and walked to the hotel, which is doable but can be a bit challenging since it is located on a hill. I would suggest getting a car for a more convenient experience. I will surely go back!!

We've stayed three nights in this place that makes you feel like you're in Heaven. The staff and the owner are very welcoming. We have got a big room, the bed sheets and towels are immaculate and the room was cleaned every day. The courtyard is large with statues who are guarding the Villa and it has a place to park your car. The views from the top of this hill are breathtaking, you can see the sea and the volcanic mountain, plus the valley. Shout-out to Doru who gave us a lot of tips. I absolutely loved the resort's location! With around 15 apartments, each having its own outdoor seating, it strikes a perfect balance between privacy and warmth. The heated swimming pools were a real highlight, offering great comfort. The Italian charm 🇮🇹 is unmistakable, from the architecture to the overall atmosphere. The staff's service was top-notch. In short, if you're looking for a fantastic location, comfort, and genuine Italian vibes, this resort has it all!

I found the mattress uncomfortably, but I've already mentioned it to the owner, and I'm hopeful he will address the issue.

A one of a kind place to stay. I really enjoyed it. :)

There were no coffee/cappuccino to be had at the place. Had to walk to the village to get some.

Great breakfast and a beautiful location. Loved the pools.

Maybe a bit less of the loud, repetitive music as it took away from the tranquil location.

We liked the location the most. A beautiful Italian villa with a wonderful view of the mountains, the sea, St. Angelo. Very nice and polite stuff 🔥🔥

The spacious room, the gardens, the views, the welcoming staff that go the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need. Felt like being home.
