The room is small but cozy. We chose the room which has a garden view (we were afraid of the street noises), that room looks as the train rails but they make little noise at night, so sleeping was totally okay. The host is very friendly and talkative. The location is good to stay for the night and the next day catch the bus to Taormina centre from the railway station (check the small shop with local food near the train station! Amazing baked pork there).

Some pieces of furniture in the room and bathroom require renovation. Sound isolation is not great, you can hear neighbours — but it can be a common problem for the buildings in the region, and not a fault of this guesthouse.

The place itself is great, quiet at night. Big and comfortable bed, good sleep and quite nice balcony, where you can relax properly after a tiring day walking around the not-the-easiest-city in Sicily

Far from the city actually. For those who have not been to Taormina and look at google maps, it might seem that half an hour's walk to the main attractions is not much, but in real life the road is without pedestrian sidewalks and along the highway up and down the hill, because you cannot park your car anywhere normally and the nearest paid parking lot is a 15-minute walk from the accommodation, honestly very stupid. And the shower needs improvement - its pressure is very weak

+ speaks English (a rather rare quality in Italy) + nice interior design + a small fridge and a water cooker are available + hot shower + WiFi works + warm in Winter (air conditioning) + room was relatively quiet + terrace available + incredibly cheap and superb Italian pizza just around two corners to the north ("Pizza Regina") + good access to Taormina, the beach and to whatever you came there for There is a bad review about Salvone's Place that talks about a sauna and a pool which is definitely not about this B&B. Ignore it until booking.com finally deletes it.

Some maps and hints send you to the wrong street number. Be aware of this.

This was a last minute 1 night stay and we did not regret. We were hesitating to book either in Giardini Naxos or Taormina and we were happy to stay here. The beach is very nice, you have some good restaurants around for food or have cocktails in the evening. The room and the bathroom is spacious, clean, with a bit of eclectic style which we liked. The window gave on a backyard with trees which we liked.

Apartement was super clean Very comfortable bed (if you like hard mattress). Salvatore is very helpful and it's awesome to meet someone to have a good chat with. Perfect location, not far from train station, bunch of restaurants, grocery and caffeteria for locals. Personal decoration.

Street could be noisy for those sensitive (quiet at night). Nothing else. Everything was perfect. Thanks Salvatore.

Pretty close to the railway station, so we can get Taormina and other places with no problem.

A bit noisy street traffic, but windows reduce 90% of it. I’d like to have possibility for making easy breakfast for myself i.e. having a bit more than two cups and a kettle, but if you 100% ready to have all the food outside apartment will suit you!

The room was super clean, nicely furnished, it had almost everything I needed for my two night stay. The outside Terrace was a nice addition. And the landlord was friendly, though didn’t get much chance to talk with him specially when I was leaving but on my arrival day he was very welcoming.

The pillows were a bit stiff and the Air conditioner's heating function didn’t work properly, but they Didn't bother me that much.

We liked walking around in Giardini Naxos, it’s smaller and less crowded than Taormina, but still close. The guest room has basic amenities and a view of the garden. We had a peaceful night.

The front door is right on the street, it’s awkward standing outside with a suitcase and cars zipping by.

proximity to the train station was a big plus but the walk at times had no sidewalk. Salvone was a very gracious host and a kind man who was very helpful. It was a quiet location and good access to food in Giardini Naxos …. pizza at ottospikk was absolutely a WOW. the walk along the nearby waterfront was always just beautiful especially at sunset. This place is where I got some much needed rest. price was very reasonable for Taormina area although not in Taormina. just past the train station is a trail that leads to Taormina and it was quite the experience both going up and coming down. If you are in shape try it the views are spectacular and it leads right to Hotel Paradiso and the lovely public park with an incredible view of Etna.

Very comfy and cosy place, very recommendable. The room is decorated with a lot of nice details, which makes it very cosy and warm. Location is good, not far from the train station which is perfect for people who travel without car. Price is good for what you get.
