If you have car , location and parking is good. Breakfast service is excellent！

Room sound proof is worst, you can hear next door snoring or talking.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff are really helpful and very kind in particular Marco . The pool was lovely. The room had an excellent view and was very clean and spacious. There is a bus stop on the doorstep, with busses to taormina and isola bella. Breakfast was good quality and plentiful. The beach was across the road, down some steps, and through the tunnel, approx 3 mins (probably not suitable for anyone with mobility issues) There is free parking very close to the hotel.

The road outside is a bit scary. Crossing to get to the beach felt like an adrenaline rush, but it was well worth it!

We were visiting Taramina, I wanted a pool and to be near the beach so this location was perfect I thought, The hotel is literally 5 minutes from the train station however it is far from any restaurants or shops, there are none, apart from a little beach bar which was lovely. We got a taxi to Taramina which was €20. We then discovered that the bus stops outside the hotel and was only €1.50. It would have been nice if the hotel staff had told us this, so we then used the bus which was great and we came back around 11pm and the busses were still running. Taramina is beautiful, as is the view from the hotel sea view balcony. The hotel was spotless clean and the surrounding areas were also very clean and tidy. The pool area was nice, but you were not allowed to move the beds or chairs, we were moved as was a womanwith her son. They do not have umbrellas around the pool, so if you need sade there are trees, but you can't move the beds.

They were very strict with where the beds and chairs were around the pool. You need to make sure if you need any provisions for your room you will have to be prepared as there are no shops or restaurants near.

We enjoyed the pool, the lady at reception was lovely and friendly, the breakfast was perfect and the main waiter there brought us fresh coffee with a cheerfulness that was a lovely start to the day. Good that there was a small bar near reception/pool albeit expensive.

Shame you can't use the pool after 7pm. The AC was pretty bad so not a great sleep. We reported the patchy/non-existent WiFi but were disappointed with the outcome...the man lied about it working fine on his phone. We argued a bit to get him to look at the router after which it worked again for about 10mins. We did not bother pursuing matters again. There is a rule saying not to bring food into or take out of the hotel because of covid. Complete rubbish. That's not how covid spreads.

This property and the team were so wonderful I extended my stay. Beautiful, clean and comfortable with large balcony. Good breakfast. Wonderful, friendly and helpful breakfast team, cleaning, & front desk team. Very nice pool and lounging area with diving board. Small bar for drinks and snacks. Also really, really great location. A short walk 5 minute walk to train. 10 with bags. As it is on a small hill right by the Madonna del Rocco 🙏 very special!!! Also the bus stop up to Taormina, or to Catania is at the bottom of the hill. They also offer laundry services too.

The location of Hotel Corallo is perfect for people like us who wanted to explore the city of Taormina as well as the beautiful beaches nearby while at the same time having some peace and quiet at night. The hotel is right next to the stairs that will take you up to Taormina by foot and the car ride there is simple too. The fact that parking and breakfast is included in the price is one of the reasons why we chose it and it makes it very worth the price. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are comfortable and clean. We loved the ocean view from our room.

I was upgraded to a double room which was lovely! The pool was fabulous. The breakfast had a great variety of good quality options. I was even provided with a breakfast bag ‘to go’ as I was checking out early on my final day, prior to the breakfast being served. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The location near the train station was great for my needs. I was very happy walking into town however if travellers have reduced mobility and/or fitness, the walk/commute into the main town of Taormina is something to consider. Public and private transport options are however available.

Excellent staff, comfortable bed and good location (both for those who wish to walk up to the city or take the bus, which stops just outside the hotel). Having a balcony was a plus and the position of the room to the side of the building made it very quiet. Good coffee to wake one up. Pool was well maintained, as were the rest of the facilities.

Rather small shower. Room door hinges need adjusting as they slam, making a lot of noise. Breakfast room could use a bit of TLC as it seemed bare (perhaps some large plants?). No tags for food - good to have for guests with specific dietary requirements. Pool opening hours could be extended to earlier and later in the day to enjoy the cooler temperatures.

We had a very pleasant stay of 3 nights at the hotel, the rooms were large and clean with an adequate bathroom and good room service. The hotel had a nice breakfast buffet, but no lunch or dinner. This does not matter much as you are very close to a bus stop that goes to both Naxos and Taormina, where you can enjoy some of the best food in Italy. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, do not be afraid to ask anything about tours or transportation or restauration. The hotel is both within walking distance of a beautiful pebble beach with clear water and the old town of Taormina. The walkway to Taormina though, is a bit tough, it’s not for the unathletic since it is a mountain path up a cliff. The beach is split between a private beach club with restaurant and bar and a public free beach further down. We would stay at this hotel again.

Do not be confused with the hotel address on booking.com, it’s not correct. Use the waypoint for Hotel Corallo on google maps, down at the beach, next to the Via Nazionale.

Very friendly staff, easy to check in and 24 hour reception. Lovely pool area. Very clean and in a good location - buses to Taormina run from outside the hotel quite frequently, there is a footpath uphill but in summer I don’t think this is doable. Lovely little beach opposite and you can get the bus to Mazzarò / Isola Bella. 5 minute walk to train station.

Bed was quite hard and uncomfortable, and had to use earplugs as you can hear any movement or talking in the corridor outside of the room. Breakfast felt very basic and there wasn’t much food - they need to restock chopped fruit etc throughout breakfast service more frequently.
