This is a beautiful boutique hotel run by a lovely, friendly family. The room was comfortable with a stunning sea view, the balcony was large and comfortable to sit out on. Pool was amazing. It had definite romantic/honeymoon vibes! Breakfast was delicious, the scrambled eggs were perfection!

It should be noted whilst Booking.com shows beachfront you cannot get to the beach from the hotel. This was not an issue for us, the pool area is gorgeous and spectacularly clean. The walk from the hotel to the town is approx. 30-40 minutes uphill/steps which is tough in the heat. A taxi into town is €25 each way, so if I could recommend anything it would be a shuttle bus as it would not be a good hotel for the elderly or infirm. That said, it is excellent value for money and I am sure there are hotels in the town itself at twice the price!

If you have car , location and parking is good. Breakfast service is excellent！

Room sound proof is worst, you can hear next door snoring or talking.

The place is spotless, and the view is stunning. Staff were lovely, especially the Finnish receptionist, really lovely. Old world and spotless.

The location is good, and the beach is across the road. However, if you want to go to the town like taormina or Gardini Nexus - you need transport. There is a bus close by and a train station, but we think you'd need a car. There is no restaurant in the hotel, and the one at the beach wouldn't be the greatest, and it's priced at the top end. We had requested a twin room and didn't get that, but we're happy enough. Like I said people are lovely, and the place while dated is spotless.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff are really helpful and very kind in particular Marco . The pool was lovely. The room had an excellent view and was very clean and spacious. There is a bus stop on the doorstep, with busses to taormina and isola bella. Breakfast was good quality and plentiful. The beach was across the road, down some steps, and through the tunnel, approx 3 mins (probably not suitable for anyone with mobility issues) There is free parking very close to the hotel.

The road outside is a bit scary. Crossing to get to the beach felt like an adrenaline rush, but it was well worth it!

We were visiting Taramina, I wanted a pool and to be near the beach so this location was perfect I thought, The hotel is literally 5 minutes from the train station however it is far from any restaurants or shops, there are none, apart from a little beach bar which was lovely. We got a taxi to Taramina which was €20. We then discovered that the bus stops outside the hotel and was only €1.50. It would have been nice if the hotel staff had told us this, so we then used the bus which was great and we came back around 11pm and the busses were still running. Taramina is beautiful, as is the view from the hotel sea view balcony. The hotel was spotless clean and the surrounding areas were also very clean and tidy. The pool area was nice, but you were not allowed to move the beds or chairs, we were moved as was a womanwith her son. They do not have umbrellas around the pool, so if you need sade there are trees, but you can't move the beds.

They were very strict with where the beds and chairs were around the pool. You need to make sure if you need any provisions for your room you will have to be prepared as there are no shops or restaurants near.

This property and the team were so wonderful I extended my stay. Beautiful, clean and comfortable with large balcony. Good breakfast. Wonderful, friendly and helpful breakfast team, cleaning, & front desk team. Very nice pool and lounging area with diving board. Small bar for drinks and snacks. Also really, really great location. A short walk 5 minute walk to train. 10 with bags. As it is on a small hill right by the Madonna del Rocco 🙏 very special!!! Also the bus stop up to Taormina, or to Catania is at the bottom of the hill. They also offer laundry services too.

The hotel is full of character and charm and the staff were very welcoming, friendly and obliging. Our room was small but it didn’t matter as we had a large veranda overlooking the sea below us, as well as of the pool and the mountains. When I made a mistake with the safe the staff remedied it immediately and cheerfully. The bed was comfortable. The cleaning was well done and efficient and the breakfast was good.

As Australians we like to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

The pool was definitely the highlight for this hotel. It has sea views and it is long enough to do some decent laps. The breakfast was also nice. Our room had a sea view and a balcony which was really lovely to sit on in the mornings and evenings. It is only a few minutes walk from the station which is handy if you are arriving by train. To get to Taormina town centre you can do a 35minute steep uphill hike which we did once and was challenging in the heat but fun or catch a short bus every 15minutes.

The location of Hotel Corallo is perfect for people like us who wanted to explore the city of Taormina as well as the beautiful beaches nearby while at the same time having some peace and quiet at night. The hotel is right next to the stairs that will take you up to Taormina by foot and the car ride there is simple too. The fact that parking and breakfast is included in the price is one of the reasons why we chose it and it makes it very worth the price. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are comfortable and clean. We loved the ocean view from our room.

Especialy after seeing the city center of Taormina, we were glad not to have stayed up there - too busy! This hotel is located in a nook under the mountain, and we had nice quiet evenings. The walk up and down to town is beautiful and adventurous, but there is also a bus. We enjoyed sitting by the pool watching the cliffs. Staff was very friendly!

We were a couple and they couldn't provide a queen bed - just two mattresses pushed together and they kept sliding apart. Not super comfy
