Everything! The location is amazing. Rohid is a Brilliant host, manager. The accom has a beautiful peaceful garden setting in the pedestrian strip - a wonderful Surprise! Decor really charming. Lovely large room With great facilities. Breakfast beautifully presented and eaten in the garden!

The B&B was in the centre of the town on a pedestrian mall. This made it very close to all the relevant sites including many restaurants. It had a large garden outdoor area which is normally used for breakfast or just relaxing. The room was quite large and comfortable and very quiet overnight and in morning (although a bit noisy during the day and early evening). The walk-in shower was appreciated. The host was very helpful and made some suggestions on places to eat. The breakfast was continental style with good choice. It was cool when we stayed but the room was comfortable with a reverse cycle air conditioner.

The down side was that you have to walk 300 metres (5 mins) to the B&B from the closet taxi drop off, 20 m beyond the Porta Catania (Gate). This was not a problem for us as when we arrived as it was very quiet, but when visiting Taormina separately some weeks before, the pedestrian mall was packed with people. The local taxis have a special pick-up and drop-off spot next to post office near to the Catania Gate. For folks arriving by local bus from the train station it is about 13 min walk to B&B from the local bus terminus which is at the Porta Messina end of mall. Our room was two flights of stairs from the entrance with no lift. The host carried our bags to our room but people with mobility issues may find the stairs and the location a bit difficult.

Relais 147 was a secret haven away from the hustle & bustle of the busy Main Street. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, maintained everyday. Our balcony with garden view was extremely generous and fantastic to relax in. Continental Breakfast was excellent, plentiful with lots of sweet treats. Rohid the manager couldn’t do enough for us - excellent communication, very welcoming and friendly and also organised our private transfers to and from Catania airport making our trip hassle free. Everything within the B&B control was outstanding.

The only thing to be aware of aware of is that there is loud music every evening between 7-12pm coming from the music bar next door, this is very loud if on your balcony, however when in bedroom with shutters closed the sound is minimal. After the first night we got used to it and it wouldn’t deter me from going back because Rohid and his team make your stay so comfortable.

A Perfect Stay in the Heart of Taormina We stayed at Relais 147 Luxury B&B from May 9th to 12th in a double room with en suite, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend this charming B&B to anyone visiting Taormina. The location is ideal, right on the main street, yet tucked away just enough to feel peaceful. The host provided perfect directions along with a photo of the front door, which was really helpful since it could be easy to miss. Our room was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable, with the added bonus of air conditioning. While some sound from nearby bars could be heard, the room was well soundproofed, and music from the bar next door stopped around midnight. In fact, we enjoyed sitting in the lovely garden area in the evenings, listening to the music—it added to the atmosphere. Breakfast was generous with lots of variety, and having access to the garden and hot tub was such a treat after long days of walking. The host was incredibly helpful, made check-in and check-out smooth, and even put breakfast out early for our early departure. This B&B is full of charm and character, offers great value for money, and truly felt like a little oasis in the center of town. There’s honestly nothing I would suggest improving—it was a perfect stay.

The hotel was like being at "home" not at someone else's home. Beautiful yard, living area, bedroom/bath. Outdoor dining was incredible. I felt comfortable the moment i arrived. The breakfast was perfect. So many fresh options. I felt the staff (Rohid) really wanted us all there. I loved walking out of this sanctuary into the hustle on the main street. Convenient to everything. Perfection!

The only thing I would suggest if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs or get a higher room. The noise from the above rooms at 6/7 am sounded like the guests forgot this is not their home, and there are other guests below them. But i would assume they had more street noise. My lower room was shielded from the outside noise of the businesses (loud street music) and passersby. My room was so quiet and relaxing.

We thought the central location was excellent, entered from the high street but beautifully peaceful and private inside. The staff were extremely responsive and friendly, so we don't have a single complaint about the service! We never had to wait more than 2 minutes for a WhatsApp reply, and nothing was too much to ask. We enjoyed the pool and dining area. The air con in the rooms kept us very comfortable, and we found the beds comfortable. For a short stay in Taormina this is a winner!

We loved this B&B and would visit again, however one area that could be improved from our point of view was the breakfast. Little things like the fruit not being quite ripe enough to eat, the tomatoes being a bit past their best, and the lack of variety of fresh cheeses and breads added it up to make us feel that this was the only disappointing thing. We feel this would be a 10/10 if they could improve on the 'breakfast' B in B&B.

The hotel was such a sanctuary from a very busy pedestrian street! There are also so many steps in Taormina and I'm glad that this hotel is located at the bottom of them - everything was really easy to access. The staff was also very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us.

This is not so much of a negative (or at least we turned it into a positive), but because of how central the hotel is - you do hear music from the streets/square late into the evening. We actually enjoyed it on some nights but on others, found it a bit difficult to sleep.

Rohid, the manager and his small staff were incredibly helpful, kind and accommodating. Our room with the large terrace was well worth the additional expense. In late November we had the property mostly to ourselves. A very charming place to stay.

The property is very special. We were less enthusiastic about Taormina. Mostly tourist restaurants and expensive retail. The tram down to the beach is fun and a great beach to swim and SUP- even in late November. Also the hike up to the castle is a good choice- lovely panorama. Taormina is well preserved and spotless. We find typical cities and towns of Sicily more authentic, but off season- it was a good visit.

This was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed at. The grounds are beautiful - a true oasis in the center of the old town. Everything is charming and extremely clean. The host could not do enough for us - we felt spoiled. I had a free room upgrade with the most amazing covered terrace. I felt like a VIP. The hot tub was beautiful and so relaxing. Breakfast was fantastic and beautifully presented. The host kindly helped us with our bags to the taxi. It was incredibly comfortable - had a brilliant night's sleep. We will definitely stay here again.

Nothing - it was perfect.

Location was amazing right in the centre next to the main square, very clean and great facilities to enjoy! The hot tub and Hammock area is fantastic. I also loved the joining balcony as we were staying with friends as 2 couples with separate rooms and were elated to find we had a joining balcony to sit out and play cards and a glass of wine before heading out to dinner. Lots of mini bar choices too

The breakfast was basic compared to other places I have stayed in Italy. Lots of sweet/cake choices however no hot food available. It wasn’t a huge deal but would be a nice touch to have an omelette or something to start the day off.
