This property was literally 30 steps from via Umberto the main strip. Although it was close to the strip it was quite. Walking distance to the gondolas to get to the beach. The host was wonderful always checking in with us to make sure everything was ok.

The hotel is right in the middle of old town with easy access to lots of restaurants and historical sites. The owner is very attentive and helpful. We highly recommend them. Note, there are about a dozen stairs that you’ll need to carry your bags up and down to access the hotel.

The hotel entrance is on a staircase so be prepared for a short bit steep access.

Superb Hotel in ideal location for all that Taormina has to offer. We treated ourselves to the Double room with an enormous Terrace which made for enjoyable interludes in the evening gazing over the lovely vista of the sea below and Mnt ETNA Volcano in the distance. Cannot speak too highly of our Host ALEX.... a most welcoming, approachable and informative Gentleman. We had an unfortunate issue with the failure of one of our Suitcases not arriving from Catania Airport. All our efforts were to no avail to retrieve it. Alex going beyond and above the call of Duty intervened on our behalf and was successful in having the luggage delivered. What could have been a Disastrous Holiday outcome was averted by Alex. Once again, Thank You Alex!

As you have to approach Hotel from the main CORSO UMBERTO up some steep steps. A lack of an obvious Hotel SIGNAGE made it somewhat confusing to locate.

The location is perfect. Literally just a few steps from the main street but tucked away enough from the hustle & bustle. The room was spotless, the bed super comfy, the sheets so crisp & fresh smelling. The complimentary bottles of water in the fridge & toiletries in the bathroom are just a lovely little touch. Alessandro was really helpful especially as this hotel doesn't have a 24/7 reception - he was always on hand via WhatsApp & even guided me through the check in as I was a late night arrival. An absolute little gem of a hotel - why it's only rated 2 stars is beyond my comprehension. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return. Fantastico ❤

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this hotel.

The location of this hotel is amazing, right in the centre of all the shops and restaurants and a 10 minute walk from the main bus station. As it's just off the main street it's still really quiet. Alex was a very gracious and attentive host, really reachable either at the hotel or on WhatsApp, and gave us lots of recommendations and advice. The rooms are reasonably basic but clean and comfortable so absolutely fine. Our air conditioning was nice and cold and the shower was good. There's a communal kettle and iron on each floor. But the location was the main winner for us.

The balcony was smaller than I anticipated but there's just about enough room for one person to take a chair and sit out. Other than that, no issues at all.

The hotel is in a great location, 30s off the main pedestrian street. The room was comfortable, and Alex was very welcoming and gave great tips on where to go. Would stay again.

Reception is only manned for some of the day, but Alex is on hand via WhatsApp to remotely open rooms/doors, so it's not a big issue. There is no parking on site (same as for almost all places in Taormina), so we had to park in a multi-storey car park about 10 mins walk away which cost about 25 Euro a day.

Please note:I am 79 years old.Despite what "everybody" is:persuaded to think(to put it charitably):not. Everybody has and regularly uses,a cell phone,on the day of my arrival(?)the very pleasant owner sent me an email(?)informing me of their hours.When I arrived,and tried to enter, it was between open hours,hence there was no answer.The -very pleasant- owner also informed me that when using Booking.com,one is supposed to call the property.While this may be true, my understanding is,that this applies only if there is a problem.Also:the:"computer maps",giving accommodation directions,are usually:extremely sketchy,vague.Of course,"everybody" has.Or should have, estuff to enable them to figure it out....

This place was great. The manager, Alex, was so very pleasant and helpful. I arrived after hours, so he orchestrated a remote check-in that worked flawlessly. The next morning, he provided maps and other information to simplify my stay. And, during my visit, he continued to offer helpful information. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with coffee to start the day. It is centrally located just a few steps off of the main drag, so it was very easy to go out for drinks and food. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe. I had a wonderful 2-week visit to Taormina.

Great location close to everything. The room was clean with basic but very adequate amenities and was laid out to work well for a stay of several days. The bed was comfortable and the bedding good quality. The hotel has an upstairs viewing lounge area with tables and chairs where it is possible to have a diy meal. There are dishes, cutlery, and a kettle provided. The host, Alex, was helpful and responsive.

The aircon is effective but noisy, and the shower is slow draining with a very shallow base so tended to overflow into the bathroom.
