Wow, this is a really beautiful hotel! Just make sure you take a junior suite apartment. The view of mount etna, sea and tropical park is something you will never forget! Add to this great design of the apartament itself, full of stylish furniture, great AC, perfect cleaning and wonderful breakfast at the top floor above the roofs of the charming city of Taormina. Moreover, your room will have a south - west orientation, providing sunbathing opportunity even in winter. You are in the very center of the city, so there are lots of restaurants, shops and other attractions. Finally, don't forget to visit the ancient theater, it is really worth it.

The hotel is quite expensive but you will have to add 20€/day for parking. However, they will take your car and bring it back any time you like - this is really convenient. Moreover, don't drink the tiny wine near your tea and coffee basket - it's not a "welcome drink", they will charge you 12€. Fortunately tea and coffee is free, tested! :)

It felt like we were staying in a local home with gorgeous antique furniture and years of history . We were within walking distance of the main town and right next to the beautiful gardens !

The view from our Junior Suite was very good. There was a good selection of food served for Breakast, with lovely views on floor 6 of the hotel. Very clean rooms. The location of Hotel Paradiso is ideal for visiting the local restaurants and shops. We also walked up and down to the beach, you have to be fit and able to do this, as it very steep and lots of steps.

The lack of a full length mirror in our room was very disappointing, as we were attending our son’s wedding, and were not able to check our appearance. Not enough coat hangers, and had to ask for the shower gel to be filled up on day 1 of our stay. Very unfriendly notes in reception about not being able to take food and drinks into the hotel, without be charged extra fee for corkage, glass use, etc. Not very welcoming, and in fact did not encourage us to use the Cocktail Bar at the hotel. All minor details, but I feel that attention to detail is key to making a persons stay a pleasurable one.

The hotel was clean, staff were very friendly, responsive and helpful. Breakfast was nice and the view from the roof top was truly panoramic. The hotel was located very close to restaurants, shops, taxi rank, cable car and bus terminus.

good breakfast with views towards Etna -

no parking - having to haul luggage across Taormina- hated Taormina- completely spoiled by crowds

The property was about 5 minute walk to the Main Street. There were 10 plus restaurants within a block of the hotel. Our room had a great view of the sea and Mt Etna and was immaculately clean. The top floor breakfast was wonderful with an amazing staff. This converts to a bar in the evening with reasonably priced drinks. I’d you go pre-dinner time they also serve you multiple appetizers.

The lobby furniture looked a bit worn and there is a moldy smell which I think is coming from the floor below. The hotel is at a conjunction of roads and can get congested with cars and noisy at times

Staff - really friendly, had a late check in, answered all my questions before and during the stay Rooftop bar - amazing view of Etna, the sea and the city, nice way to enjoy Breakfast - at the rooftop bar, so amazing, enough variety, loved the artichoke and sun dried tomatoes Room - cleaning and changing towels every day, nice lemon smell, had the view to the tennis field, Villa Comunale and the sea, quiet even though the hotel has some parts under renovation Location - right near Villa Comunale, in the historic center, very near to all restaurant and shops, but not exactly in the crowded part on Corso Umberto, so it was nice and quiet, family friendly, you chould carry a stroller to the garden and enjoy the scenery, the sea and all the exotic plants

Breakfast could have had more warm dishes, but it was ok for 4 days stay. The elevator is only for the rooftop bar and for big luggage/ special situations.

Wonderful atmosphere, great breakfast/drinks location. Friendly staff. The hotel is very well sited, a little bit away from the main tourist street, which we thought a plus. Our room beautifully equipped, comfortable and sensational views of the bay to Etna.

Would have liked face washers (flannel) included with the towels. Shower was fine but of confined dimensions. But these are minor really. A disappointment was staff lack of knowledge of the Etna historic train, and train timetabling/stations to get to Etna. We were very keen on the old train but gave up pursuing it.

Nice and comfortable room with an amazing view of Etna and the bay. Located ideally as everything is within walking distance. The breakfast was really nice with good diversity. The bar on top of the hotel is very nice as well. The hotel does not have a restaurant for dinner but there are plenty of options within walking distance. Parking can be a bit of a headache in Taormina but they offer valet parking. However, be aware that it costs 30€ per night and they do take 1 h to bring back your car so you have to ask for it in advance. Overall, we had a really nice stay and I would stay there again if in Taormina.

It is a bit more on the pricey side which I understand since you pay for the view as well but it would have been nice to have better amenities in the room at that price, at least bathrobes and drinking water.

The extensive buffet breakfast is served in a beautiful rooftop restaurant with panoramic views over the city and sea. The room was large, amply provisioned, and also had beautiful views of the sea and of the so-called Greek Theater (actually a Roman theater). The old town is all within easy walking distance of the hotel, which also adjoins the city botanical garden. The lobby features a fascinating collection of antique maps and prints from the area. The staff were extremely helpful.

Like many hotels in old Italian towns, the Paradiso lacks onsite parking. The hotel does, however, offer an efficient valet parking service and loaned us umbrellas when we went for walks in the rain.
