What could be better than being right around the corner from the BamBar (which is a coffee house, not an actual bar)! I felt like I was living in a movie. It was so much fun to go get a coffee and granita every morning. The location was great for shopping, dinning, and reaching the bus stops too. The accommodations were clean, beautiful and so well located! I highly recommend this BnB. A few things to take note of: 1) breakfast is not provided from November through March, 2) communicating with management was not very good so be sure to get very detailed check-in information at the time of booking so you have the codes to enter the building. In a pinch you can relay information via the gift shop at the foot of the stairs which is owned by the same family.

The hotel is in an ideal spot if you want to be central. It is a couple of minutes walk away from Corso Umberto, about 5 minutes from the cable car and not much more to the amphitheatre and the bus station. Plenty of bars/restaurants around (underneath and opposite for a start). Yes, there is noise which starts early in the morning so if you want a quiet, out of the way hotel then this probably isn't for you but we loved the buzz and the convenience. The bed was comfortable and the room clean.

We didn't realise breakfast wasn't included from the start of November but having said that it wasn't a problem to find somewhere to buy pastries and coffee nearby.

Excellent building and room design in a colorful style. Fantastic location in the middle of Taormina. Excellent recommendations for restaurants texted by friendly host Santi. Room #3 had a peak ocean view from small balcony. Breakfast 8am-10am is a variety of cakes, breads, yogurt, juices, coffees and 1 tray of ham & cheese..  Price is reasonable considering Taormina is a high-end locale. Basic good value relative to other uber pricey rates nearby.

Full Maid service only every 3 days 😣 , but some touchup daily. Poor and limited communication prior to checkin on booking.com messaging 🤔 Small room, undersized twin bed, small bath and shower but typical for Europe at this price point 💷.  Minimal shelving and storage in bath. 

Location is suberb. The building is well maintained, rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. Even though location is right in the centre, noise from the street was minimal. Communication from Santi was via what’s app and very effective and efficient both prior to arrival and during our stay.

The breakfast was the only disappointment and the only reason I haven’t given it a better rating. Whilst there were a variety of cakes and pastries available and a mediocre plate of ham and cheese, that was it. There was no fresh fruit or cereals.

The property is in a great location! You have so much around you within short walking distance. The rooms are spacious, big comfortable beds and pillows. Bathroom etc was clean.

We were in room 5 first floor so could hear music from the bars outside until late. So if you’re a light sleeper I would take ear plugs. There is no parking at hotel, the main car park is 20 euros a day. More than 48 hours 15 euros everyday. There is a free shuttle bus from the car park to main road from 7am to midnight/1am. Otherwise easy 20min walk from hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay here, although it was much too short. It only took 10 minutes to walk there from the free shuttle bus that transported us from the Lumbi Car Parking Lot to the nearest bus stop to Casa Turrisi. We loved the location: right in the heart of the action and close to the Ancient Greek Theater. Communication from the host was excellent. She met us at the door and showed us in. Our room, #1, was a suite. It had a living area downstairs with 2 balconies and the bedroom and bathroom were upstairs. There was a table on each balcony and 2 chairs that we took out from the suite a placed on the balcony. We enjoyed drinking our tea and looking at the people walking below. Inside, the suite was nicely appointed and very clean. Our bed was comfortable and despite being in the center of the action, our room was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast was served between 8-10 a.m. on the terrace on the top floor of the building and what a great view!

This isn’t a dislike, as we weren’t planning on cooking, but the suite was advertised with a kitchen , and although there was a kitchen with a stove, a kettle, 2 coffee mugs, 2 spoons, and fridge, there were no other dishes, glasses, silverware, or cooking utensils.

Very clean, spacious, location is excellent and right above the best granita spot. The owner was very responsive , helpful and knowledgeable. The staff were attentive, pleasant and fast. Breakfast was light and what was needed to start the day.

The recycling truck collecting glass each morning woke us up but nothing ear plugs couldn't help with. If you have mobility issues, the staircase up to the bathroom and bedroom would be tricky as it's narrow and steep. Easy for able bodied people.

The property was very clean and comfortable, the bed firm and relaxing, and the bathroom a dream. There was a variety to choose from at the breakfast buffet and the personnel was very helpful and full of joy. The property is in a very central location and close to most restaurants and shops. The host also offers some activities and places worth visiting.

Unfortunately, the fridge wasn't working so we couldn't keep cold water inside, especially in these weather conditions, and the noise from the apartments was a bit excessive.

Beautifully decorated and very modern. Santi, the host was very helpful. He even did a video chat with me when we couldn’t find the parking garage. Breakfasts were good with pastry choices and nice meat and cheeses.

Like many hotels in the area, you have to park in a garage, then take the bus and then carry the luggage from city center to your hotel. This will be too challenging if you had heavy luggage or if you are physically challenged. Juices at breakfasts tasted weird, like watered down. No fruits offered either.

Location in the middle of Taormina was great. Walking distance to all. Room was very clean. Host very fast in response. Easy with check in and check out. Great breakfast on the roof.

We were right above a bar. In the evening no problem as they close early but in the morning they also start very early. Earplugs would have been advisable with this room. Our bathroom needed some renovation. Shower flooded our bathroom floor. No fresh fruit with breakfast. Someone emptying 8 containers of glass at 6am.
