I'm not sure why this place gets negative reviews – we had a really lovely stay. The breakfast was fresh and enjoyable each morning, the lift worked perfectly throughout our visit, and the staff were genuinely warm and helpful. The location couldn’t be better – it’s within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and all the main attractions. Would definitely stay again.

The rooms are a bit small to move around in when you have luggage for 2 people but other than that it was lovely.

The location is outstanding! Just steps away from the main street in Taormina. The staff are really lovely and helped us book a few tours and airport transfers back to Catania. The breakfast in the morning was delicious with plenty of options. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

The bathroom is dated and had a bit of mould in it. When we addressed the mouldy shower head with the staff they were quick to fix the situation which we appreciated. The lift was broken while we were there, and while we didn’t mind walking several flights of stairs and carrying our bags up (helped walk off the pasta!) however, if you require lift access and are thinking of staying in the next month or so I’d contact the hotel first to check that it’s been fixed prior to booking.

The Staff make it. It has all you need Bang centre of town With the addition of the best restaurant in Taormina if you are a foodie. Kepos restaurant takes a 3 star hotel to a 5 star heaven. Lemon Grove private Garden for breakfast and chilling. There is the best Pizza in town on the back steps. Ulysses Grotto The roof top pool and deck are great for lazy days chilling in the sun. But the staff are amazing be sure and look after them. Very rare to find such genuine hospitality. I was very surprised This is an underrated find for sure.

Wish they had a couple of Sofas to relax and enjoy the garden. That’s it Nothing was too much trouble

Perfect location for Corso Umberto. Friendly staff who were very helpful.

The hotel needs a little more TLC. The pool should be monitored and cleaned more thoroughly as the pigeons are a nuisance and poo in the pool particularly overnight. The shower in the room definitely needed to be upgraded as the door did not close, had insufficient water pressure and kept alternating between hot and cold.

Location was exceptional. Down a few stairs & right in the middle of the bustling streets.

This is a fantastic location for a stay in the heart of Taormina. Having the swimming pool in the centre of town is a real bonus. The staff were very helpful.

It is a three-star hotel and so there are some small details that could be improved. Specifics include we only had a couple of thin plastic glasses in the bathroom, so nowhere for your toothbrush; our room had a strange, wasted alcove which could easily have been made into a useful wardrobe; they could do much more with the garden and having a little bar there would be nice. But I repeat, it is a great place to stay in Taormina and price was not bad considering some of the prices there.

The staff Josefina , Vancenze and Daniel were really excellent, very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much for any of them. Thank you Josefina with helping us getting picked up from a broken down train late at night!👌

Unfortunately the lift had broken down for the time we were there, but luckily Vincenze could provide me with a room , not with the view I had booked on the top floor, but on the 1 st floor.

Great location, with very helpful staff. Breakfast was very good. Room good size.

I wish there was a kettle in the room, and a chest of draws.

The hotel is a hidden gem with an amazing central location. The rooms and common areas were all spotless. Breakfast was lovely. We loved the roof terrace with amazing views. However, it was the exceptional kindness and professionalism of Josephine, Lety, Vincenzo & Daniele which made our holiday one to remember 😀 We will definitely be back again.

Everything about the hotel was great. Parking is a problem however the hotel offers a valet service via a third party car park which is excellent.

The room we were in was exactly infront of the main entrance so it was quite noisy at times. The lift was not working all the time
