We had an amazing stay in Taormina! The host was incredibly helpful and kind, giving us great recommendations on where to eat like a local. The place was clean, charming, and very well maintained. Breakfast was good, and we especially appreciated that they took care of our luggage after check-out. On our last day, they even surprised us with a little gift, which was such a thoughtful gesture 😊 The location couldn’t have been better — right next to Porta Messina, just steps away from the center, with every attraction only a few minutes’ walk. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taormina!

It was perfect

Location is perfect - not only at the gate of the historical center but also near the gondola and a central bus stop, rich breakfast, cozy room, basic but with character, clean with all the needed facilities, and mostly - Gianluca is extremely welcoming and helpful. Thank you!

AC was loud sometimes and we had some issues turning it on (but we always managed to do so after a minute or two). Given it's an extremely central location, might be a bit noisy at night/morning - double glass helps blocking most of it but there's still some noise to those who are sensitive (we completely didn't mind)

We enjoyed being so close to the main area of Taormina and Lumbi parking garage, which had free shuttles and was only a 5 minute walk to the B&B. Our balcony overlooked the shopping and pedestrian streets, the walls are thin and furniture is old and broken. It’s a bit noisy at tight but that did not bother us. We were in the heart of Taormino and Cole to everything. The offered a simple Italian breakfast every morning. Cetty was lovely who helped serve breakfast and assisted with any questions. The bathroom is a nice size and shower was hot and lovely.

Furniture needs better looking after.

Great location, in the middle of all the action. Host was great and gave us a very nice breakfast to go, as we had to leave before actual breakfast started. Room is very clean and looks great. Bed was ok (i prefer soft beds and this is not the norm in Italy, so not taking points out of them due to personal preference)

Because it's an old building, there was no sound isolation, so you could hear everyone talking on the streets/at the bars until 1am when they closed. Price was a bit steep, but we booked with no notice

The location is super central, right at Porta Messina, and you can reach everything within a few minutes walk. The hosts are incredibly nice and responsive (they even arranged for us to have breakfast a bit earlier on our last day). The breakfast was lovely, and overall we had a really pleasant stay.

It can be a bit noisy at times, especially in the evenings (closing the windows usually helps). On the other hand, it should really be expected in such a central location.

The property is just inside of the Porta Messina providing easy access to the town and to the shuttle from the parking garage and any bus or car service you require. The hostess is fantastic and actually bakes and cooks eggs for the guest in an adorable kitchen dining room with a view. She stored our luggage on the final. day giving us another full day in Taormina before leaving and recommended Salvadore (he was great) to drive us to Savoca for a private Godfather trip. The room was spotless and nicely setup with adequate shower room. Definitely the best value for the money.

Being right on the Main Street, it can be noisy early but we sleep with the window open and could have closed it if it got too bad.

Good price for a room in a great location.clean room. The double doors which led to the balcony really helped dampen the street noise. It was super quiet in the room despite being on a crowded street. Hosts were very kind

The balcony had no table or chairs so if you wanted to be out there you had to sit on the floor or stand. Also the breakfast was not good. I liked the coffee. The breakfast could have been so much better with some eggs or any type of protein.

The location is what is key. Right outside you are where everything is. The restaurants, Bars, Souvenir shops etc Everything is within walking distance. If you want to go from the main street to the beach area it is One euro & fifty from the bus station 10 mins walk from the premises. Also the buses operate ever 15 mins. There is also buses to Catania airport as well as the Railway station which takes you where you want to go. Right outside you can book trips to Mount Etna, Catania, Syracuse etc The room was comfortable and clean. It is a bed and breakfast. The breakfast was lovely, Cappuccino or lattes plus a spread of pastries, cornflakes, cold meats, cookies. Just loved it. Also good selection of teas. Right at the entrance there is a vending machine shop with water, beer, soft drinks, coffee, and Restaurants.

Nothing to dislike.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this B&B Joan's Heritage! The location is perfect—very central and close to everything you need. The rooms are not only stylish but also comfortable. The host was simply fantastic, welcoming, and went out of their way to be helpful throughout my stay. The check-in process was seamless and stress-free. The rooms were spotless, and everything you could need for a comfortable stay was provided. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Excellent location, very clean, nice atmosphere.

If you come by car -watch out: Parking Lumbi is brutal. The way up and down is incredibly narrow and steep spiral. However it is the only parking from which the free shuttle to the city center departs. The B&B should communicate up front that the final shuttle stop is Porte Mesina, the only stop in fact. The B&B is just arround the corner - very convinient, if you know it. As for the property, the breakfast was very basic.
