We enjoyed being so close to the main area of Taormina and Lumbi parking garage, which had free shuttles and was only a 5 minute walk to the B&B. Our balcony overlooked the shopping and pedestrian streets, the walls are thin and furniture is old and broken. It’s a bit noisy at tight but that did not bother us. We were in the heart of Taormino and Cole to everything. The offered a simple Italian breakfast every morning. Cetty was lovely who helped serve breakfast and assisted with any questions. The bathroom is a nice size and shower was hot and lovely.

Furniture needs better looking after.

The property is just inside of the Porta Messina providing easy access to the town and to the shuttle from the parking garage and any bus or car service you require. The hostess is fantastic and actually bakes and cooks eggs for the guest in an adorable kitchen dining room with a view. She stored our luggage on the final. day giving us another full day in Taormina before leaving and recommended Salvadore (he was great) to drive us to Savoca for a private Godfather trip. The room was spotless and nicely setup with adequate shower room. Definitely the best value for the money.

Being right on the Main Street, it can be noisy early but we sleep with the window open and could have closed it if it got too bad.

Good price for a room in a great location.clean room. The double doors which led to the balcony really helped dampen the street noise. It was super quiet in the room despite being on a crowded street. Hosts were very kind

The balcony had no table or chairs so if you wanted to be out there you had to sit on the floor or stand. Also the breakfast was not good. I liked the coffee. The breakfast could have been so much better with some eggs or any type of protein.

The location is what is key. Right outside you are where everything is. The restaurants, Bars, Souvenir shops etc Everything is within walking distance. If you want to go from the main street to the beach area it is One euro & fifty from the bus station 10 mins walk from the premises. Also the buses operate ever 15 mins. There is also buses to Catania airport as well as the Railway station which takes you where you want to go. Right outside you can book trips to Mount Etna, Catania, Syracuse etc The room was comfortable and clean. It is a bed and breakfast. The breakfast was lovely, Cappuccino or lattes plus a spread of pastries, cornflakes, cold meats, cookies. Just loved it. Also good selection of teas. Right at the entrance there is a vending machine shop with water, beer, soft drinks, coffee, and Restaurants.

Nothing to dislike.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this B&B Joan's Heritage! The location is perfect—very central and close to everything you need. The rooms are not only stylish but also comfortable. The host was simply fantastic, welcoming, and went out of their way to be helpful throughout my stay. The check-in process was seamless and stress-free. The rooms were spotless, and everything you could need for a comfortable stay was provided. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Excellent location, very clean, nice atmosphere.

If you come by car -watch out: Parking Lumbi is brutal. The way up and down is incredibly narrow and steep spiral. However it is the only parking from which the free shuttle to the city center departs. The B&B should communicate up front that the final shuttle stop is Porte Mesina, the only stop in fact. The B&B is just arround the corner - very convinient, if you know it. As for the property, the breakfast was very basic.

The property was very well located. super clean. Concerta was super nice. The breakfast was good.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Too many stairs. No elevators. There is no one to take up the luggage for you. The shower gel and soap very minimal. And it was difficult to get in touch with Veronica once we got there we had to wait outside, wondering if there was even anyone there waiting for our arrival.

The location is great, right by the Messina gate. It was clean and quiet at night. The woman that cleaned our room and made our breakfast was very kind and assisting! We were able to leave our luggage there a few hours longer after check out.

The mattresses could really be renewed. Also it would be nice if there were also savory options for breakfast.

Perfect central location, very friendly, responsive, and accommodating staff (Gianluca always replied to our messages quickly, Cetty is a sweetheart). Every attraction in central Taormina is just a few minutes away, great place to recharge your batteries after a day of walking, sunbathing, swimming and exploring.

There is some noise from the other rooms and the street outside - we found it charming, as it is to be expected when you're on a busy street in an old building, but it's probably not for everyone.

At the entrance to the old town on the Corso Umberto, the free bus from Lumbi car park stops about 100m away. A great location for us. Nice owners. Lovely to just sit on our balcony with a drink and some snacks watching the street below. Note, if you have luggage, that there are about 20 stairs inside the building to get to your room. Breakfast is served around a large table. In-room safe. Nice bedding, comfy bed. It's not 5 star luxury but that's not what I would go for. For the money it's great.
